  1. I have felt this was the plan from the start.

    I have said this for months before the Bill was signed, as in the bill is the clause:

    "Each State can house online gaming for the residents of that State".

    Now Harrahs is the subject of a takeover bid.

    What part of this equation is difficult to understand?

    Harrahs will be moving into the online gaming industry, followed by MGM, and it will be fully regulated and taxed. And I don't think it is going to take months or years before it happens.

That clause is there because it is morally and ethically proper to run lotteries, horse racing, Indian and state-run casinos (live or online) that ruin and destroy citizens lives, as long as the State gets their cut. It is a crime against humanity to do so, if (and only if) the State cannot get their cut.
  3. I disagree....that clause is there to leave the window open for US regulated online gaming. Period.

  8. these results are based entirely on the public school system and include non IQ related variables such as attendance.

    That being said, I think Mississippi is the least intelligent state based on different surveys I have seen.
