  1. About a week ago I set up an epassporte account using my Bank Of America Visa card. Everything went fine, I made a small deposit and was able to fund my stars account with it. I went back in today and I'm getting a message that the transactions was declined by the bank. Anyone else have this problem???
  2. My understanding is that Bank of America takes it upon themselves to "protect" you from dealing with evil doers like money processors for online gaming.

    You need a new bank.
  3. I recently set up Epassporte and linked my BOA accounts to it.. No problems at all ,however they did send me a letter saying that it appeared as a suspicious charge.. I called them and told them I was aware of it and that was that.
  4. I think Bank of America punished me for using my Neteller Card as well. I was luck enough to be able to withdraw cash from Neteller before they card stopped working as well. I used a Bank of America ATM machine, withdrew cash, placed in right into an envelope and back into Bank of America checking account immediately after. $100 mysteriously disappeared from my deposit. I disputed it and received a letter with a peice of paper hand typed on a calculator with new amount of deposit -- how can I challenge that hard proof my deposit was off! (I checked Neteller balance to verify how much I withdrew, BofA stole my money).

Yes, I learned my lesson about depositing cash into ATM.

I need a new bank too.
  5. I think part of this is bofa and part is epassporte - the same thing happened to me. BofA is freezing accounts of users who deposit into epassporte - just call them and verify the charges and they will unlock them. Its not a gambling thing - this never happened with any of my other epay sites. There seems to be some specific problems between epassportes and bofa authorization service. My bank actually sent approval codes to epassporte for some withdrawls but epassporte reported them as denied and then they kept trying so the suspicious activity was triggered. I'm thinking epassportes infrastructure is just a bit overwhelmed right now which is causing issues.
  6. Thanks. I called them and they said they were questioning it because it was coming from a foreign country. They flipped a switch somewhere and now it works.

  7. I have disputed a couple ATM discrepencies with bofa and it always resulted in a full investigation including reviews of all cameras etc and they have always been resolved in my favor. And anyway you think bad employees only work for 1 bank?
  8. Have to set it up with your bank acct number(s)... using your Visa/check card with them will get you hemmed up by their "protection" sensors... bascially as described above.
  9. I started looking into my last transaction to epassporte and found a "cash equivalent transaction fee" charged to my cc of 4%. Combine that with epassporte fee for a total of 9%. That's starting to look a little steep.....

  10. oh yeah the fees are ridiculous - look at the rest of the fee schedule - they charge you money to breathe
  11. Thats why I went with the checking account option. It takes longer to get your funds, but if you have good bankroll strategy and can wait the 7 days, it's $2 in and $2 out, thats it. As for the extra fees they charge for the credit card, I will let the donkeys pay that.
