  1. ***** My funds have been recovered!

I don't know how to change the title of this email but it should be changed. Thanks to all of those who helped.

Someone contacted St Kitts bank on my behalf, spent a while on the phone and together they found my account located somewhere different then their normal accounts (not exactly sure on all the details). All of the funds are there but if someone was in a similar position I wouldn't expect the money to be there for long.

One person pm'd me with a similar problem, anyone else can feel free, but I still think I was the only one in America with an epass account.

    Thx again

I used epassporte years ago to put money on and take money off Full Tilt. I kept my account with a large balance on it because it could be used for other things. Recently, Visa stopped operating with them and basically shut them out of business. Just before this happened I could read my large balance that was available for withdraw. Now it says I have no funds in the account and there is no one to get ahold of at epassporte. They instead refer me to St Kittys Bank which says they see my name as an account holder but also no funds. The only documentation I have are the Full Tilt transaction histories and my bank statements.

Has anyone had any experience whatsoever with epassporte lately? I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction so I can contact the right person and hopefully get my money back.

Obviously this may belong in bad beats and I should never have kept money in an offshore account that was this untrustworthy, but this is the mistake I made. Any and all help you guys can provide would help me a lot. Thank You

    Steven

Also - Here is the message on their homepage and here is the message I receive once I login... It is the only thing I can see and I cannot access anything else on the site:

    October 20, 2010,
    Dear Account Holders,
Please login to your ePassporte Account to review your Account Balance and complete the wire disbursement and Account Closure form.
Please DO NOT contact the offices of United bank or Mr. Gregory Elias. Correspondence sent to these parties will slow down the process ePassporte controls. There are also a number of websites posting contact information for people who are not longer employed by ePassporte. Contacting or harassing these individuals will delay your request.
We would like to assure each and every Account Holder that all funds will be returned. We are also working to restore the ability to view balances and submit documents online. We hope to have this functionality available before the end of the week and will post updates on our home page when available. Please continue to check the ePassporte.com website daily for new messages or information.
If you have funds on your Visa Virtual Account, please contact St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank. Their contact information and messages about these balances are available on their website: www.sknanb.com.
    ePassporte

ePassporte has opened up the website to allow you to submit requests for repayment of the funds on your ePassporte Wallet Account. As we have previously informed you, you will need to contact St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank to receive your Visa Virtual Card funds. SKNANB can be contacted at www.sknanb.com.
You must follow the steps described below so that ePassporte may most efficiently and quickly repay your funds.
Account Holder funds will be repaid by wire transfer and a US$50 wire transfer fee will be charged.
If you do not have a bank account to which ePassporte can send a wire transfer, please send an email to walletrequest@epassporte.com. Please put "NO BANK ACCOUNT" and your username in the subject line. This will enable us to communicate with you as quickly as possible to identify an alternate method to return your funds.
You do not have sufficient funds in your Wallet account to complete a bank wire transfer.

Nothing has changed in months, fml

  2. There's a great chance you were hit with about 26 months worth of inactivity fees and that's why your balance is gone. Good luck!

I checked it a few months ago and my balance was big... Took me months and months to verify my account again because I had lost the original debit card I loaded the money up with. I literally missed the cashout by a few weeks and now may be paying a huge price.

This sounds like a possibility, it seems like they just can't find the account with my money in it. I'll try and ask St Kitts if they have any of that info, because I can't access anything on epass

  6. if ur talking substantial $ it would prob be worth it to talk to an attorney. may not be neccessary but the risk/reward is prob there if the loss potential is significant. gl man.

i doubt it would be enough to get an attorney unless it happened to a ton of people too, hopefully that would be the last option. i really am still hoping/thinking its a mistake and i can recover my funds if i find the right way to, and ty

  8. ya i dont mean for purposes of filing suit or anything but idk, it kind of sounds like there was some type of bankruptcy or seizure or something and if so an attorney would be able to advise you to make sure you are listed as a creditor or any simple legal formalities you might need to take during any type of bankruptcy proceedings or any type of similar action against epass. im just talking out my ass really cuz i have no idea what happened with epass but i just meant for $500 or $1000 or whatever u could get some simple legal advice to protect yourself which would be well worth it if you are talking about substantial $.

  9. Do you know what attorneys get compensated in instances like this if they help him get his $ back phatcat?
and also thanks for the thread, I used to use epassporte a ton and probably have a small amount still left on there.

  10. no, idk what is typical for contingency type arrangements, totally negotiable afaik, but those types of arrangements are generally for situations where facts and circumstances are a lot more ambigous than what it sounds like here. sounds pretty obvious and easily documented that epass owes him $ here. generally an attorney will just charge a standard hourly rate for their time which in this case would simply be advising you what steps you can take to make sure your legal rights to your funds are protected and secured as well as possible and not simply falling thru the cracks because you weren't properly placed on the list of creditors or didnt make the proper notifications or communications or some similar simple formality if this is indeed bankruptcy or receivership or anything of the sort.
  11. if im not mistaken,i remember originally,i verified by fax to an office in ft lauderdale. If so,you may have a shot.

  12. Thanks to everyone for posting and thank you to p5s for putting this post back up.

I received an email from the St Kitts bank and they located an account of mine. Not sure if all my funds are in there as of now but I'm thinking the situation can be resolved. I'll keep everyone updated, hope for the best,

    Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays
