  1. Over in the Poker Pavillion, Eskimo Clark suddenly started shaking and collapsed as the Stud Hi/Lo tournament was in progress. The tournament clock was stopped, everyone was evacuated in an orderly fashion and paramedics arrived at the scene very quickly.

I'm not sure but I heard that it might have been a stroke or heart attack.

However, we were informed here in the media room that he was breathing and his eyes were open while the paramedics took care of him. That's all for now.
  2. WOW.....thats terrible news

  3. what happens to his chips? Doesn't he get blinded out? I would ask them just to put me all in every hand. I would have to be dead for them to take me away, with chips on the table. Get better eskimo, we love you.

The ill player has had his $2,000 buy-in refunded. His starting chips have been taken out of play, and his around 200 profit is being redistributed into every pot at his table, 25 at a time.

  5. i hate to be ill minded or sick,,,,,,but you mean to tell me I can register for the main event for 10K and when im running bad or close to out I can pull an amazing feat off, with acting and alca-seltzer (foam of the mouth), and get my money back. WOW.......new scam....
  6. yeah, sure sounds like you hate to be ill minded or sick.
  7. Hes a well known player thats probably why
  8. I don't doubt he had a heart attack...it was 4000 degrees in that fucking pavillion...it is criminal for that size buy-in there is no air conditioning...
  9. From the sounds of it, he had a seizure, collapsing and shaking, I only ask if he was unconscious when it happened? Usually its only for 5-10 minutes but still.

I have a similar medical condition, I can suddenly fall over and go into a seizure, anywhere at any time doing anything. Usually I am normal in around 24 hours, but when I wake up after appox 5 minutes I have no idea whats going on. It sounds like Eskimo when through a similar experience.

It is a very annoying disease, but still serious.
  10. Saw eskimo today in the poker room....Looked fine to me.

  11. If it is what I think it is (look above), you will be ok in prolly 6 hours, and back to normal in 24.
  12. He's faking death to get insurance and to avoid his backers.
  13. epilepsy FTL
  14. TMLMS13, my brother has a very similar condition and it can be very scary. Only happened to him about 10 times in past few years but thats enough that its scary when it happens. Also was put on meds that were supposed to stop it but its hard to say how much that helps.
  15. So you think if no name had a heart attack during the tournament they'd say screw him let's blind him off?
  16. Note that he was ahead -- 200
  17. I heard he was seated next to Paul Magriel and just wanted to gtfo of there.
  18. OK, this is a serious situation and normally things like that are just cruel, but I def lol'd at the Paul Magriel joke.

I hope he is OK tho. Hats off to the Rio for handling the situation well.
