    Just curious if anyone out there has EVER had or found a +ev girlfriend and if so how was she help to you and not a distraction. Id love to hear a podcast of a pro that has a +evgf and hear what she does while he is grinding to be helpful and not annoying.

    obv I already know girlfriends are -ev but I bet theres one or two out there where it goes the other way. advice please haha

    Mine is pretty +ev. Except for her thinking I really asked out Paula Creamer....lol

    We are both off normally on Sundays but she knows I play poker then. So she will either bring me lunch/dinner or just send me sexy pics during the day. It always makes me happy. She also understands big weeks like double guarantee week and stayed away all week except for the night I didnt play. She always calls me to ask how im doing tho when she isnt watching.

    My girlfriend takes night courses and bartends, which works great because we're both on the same work schedule. She's def +ev

    my gf is def +ev, cooks for me, brings me beer, makes my drinks, wont watch tv if im tilting...she gets it...it helps that i win as well

    A +EV significant other is the best thing you can find for poker. My fiance is the best there is, supports me wholeheartedly even my crazy hours and weird schedules, does anything she can to help me be successful, from cooking and cleaning to massages and listening to me gripe, and she truly loves the game and is learning it...

    Its a must imo....

    Have to say my gf is +EV, I grinded and paid for like eating out and entertainment while she was in her last two years of college. She got out, and she bought a house (not the best, but nice) and now live together. She doesn't bitch about me grinding, but there are times when I wish I could be playing and know I probably wont be able to (3-4 times a month). She is pretty cool for the most part, but bitches at me for stupid shit. I go about every 3rd week wanting to end the relationship, then reevaluate my situation and it isnt bad at all.

    Have to say my gf is +EV, and the only way to do it is from the get go let them know that you play cards, it consumes a lot of time, and money is the number one priority. She buys me shit, I buy her shit..basically evens out. The positive EV comes in through things like she bought the house in her name, buys everything if I do the handy shit..win.

    Edit: Coming back, I have seen a -EV girlfriend and it is the worst. My old roomate had a girlfriend that was sickening, always saying "Wish I could just sit at home and play a game for money! No, some people have to get a real job." Completely not understanding the stress or talent it takes. Extremely fast to take the nice clothes, shoes, and expensive dinners and like 3k to travel iceland tho...bitches..

    seriously your looking at girls in terms of +ev, think you need to step away from your computer and realise thers mor to life than poker

    as it is im very lucky that my girlfriend is supportive with me playing and obviously enjoys the perks the profits bring. that being said if it got to the point i care more about the grind than her id seriously have to reconsider my life choices

    if im tilting, there is no TV on, she doesnt talk to me, usually leaves or just acts like she's doing something on her laptop while i cuss out my screen and punch my desk lol

    at this moment she is watching TV but im just grinding a few sngs...i already flipped my shit 2 hours ago ;)

    Her and her husband played in the wsop, she is super supportive, and sings this real corny song when he is involved in a hand and or wins a hand.
