1. EDITTED FOR LEGIBILITY

In December 2003, a team of players from Wichita started a ring of collusion. These players include NUBaseball04, HuskerRed, brokedikdog8, albtili19 and some others. One night, albtili19 confessed to me that he was indeed NUBaseball04 and was multiaccounting.

There were many players who reported this group. In January or February 2004, it seemed like PokerRoom had dealt with the problem, as multiple Wichita accounts had been closed, and/or disallowed to play with each other any more. Why these players IP addresses were not permanently blocked is a mystery. It would have helped prevent the following problem.

The $100-100 game in question with Daniel Negreanu included players named BeanZo_ and 91ilitbla (a reversal of the name albtili19). Both of these players (or single player) are from Wichita. Both opened their original accounts within three weeks of each other, and have continued opening accounts at PokerRoom and OnGame skin sites on a regular basis.

Current Accounts in Question:
albtili19 Jul 26, 2003
91ilitbla Date Unknown (a BetOnBet account)

A close look at account details (dates, names, addresses, etc.) and playing histories of these players will reveal everything that needs to be known. They are all (most likely) funded from the same NETeller account.

Since we don't have access to OnGame's data, the question that skeptical and analytical people such as yourself need to be asking is... How likely is it that (a) TWO players from Wichita, (b) who originally signed up within three weeks of eachother in 2003, (c) were able to develop the skills, (d) and the bankroll, to (e) play the biggest games online (f) together at the same table. This combination of factors is beyond cooincidence and circumstance. Especially considering that foul play was previously an issue.
2. Yet again, my carriage returns aren't working. Can someone please edit and I will copy-paste in the original post?

UPDATE (3/11): I've identified the problem with my carriage returns; they do not register through the browswer version I used to create the original post.

4. Thanks. I couldn't make it work with the cut-and-paste though...

5. Has Negreanu ever commented on this? How much did they take him for?
6. No comment from DN. Private e-mails sent. I assume he's looking into it. I believe he's at a major tournament this weekend, and I'm doubtful this is one of his top priorities. In this particular game, DN left up just north of $10,000. He only played for about an hour, and said he had a plane to catch. The fact that he didn't get "taken" for a loss is irrelevant.

7. yahboohoo, i would play with these guys...

other names they used-

LiVeWiRe
Quicksandx
8. How do you know this? I'm familiar with these names.

9. These guys are all really the same or a team? Quicksand and Livewire are also abilit91 and beanzo and brokdikdog and huskerred and nubaseball? Finkle/Einhorn? Einhorn/Finkle? Beanzo just won the last big PR promotion for most rake lol. I don't believe in McCarthyism and innocent until proven guilty and all that... however ... These guy(s) are a few of the small # of players who play the big cash game on Ongame network... Pretty serious allegations that I hope are sorted out soon for all involved.
10. IMO, the probabilities of... (a) x (b) x (c) x (d) x (e) x (f) + previous allegations & actions taken = 99% confidence. There are, after all, probably only about 50-100 players in the world who will play $100-100 online.

11. Yeah yahboohoo these days it seems that the only times cheaters get caught and we know about it are when the players proactively find the cheating and report it loud enough that the sites notice. Perhaps the sites are catching 100 cheaters a day... if this is so it would serve them well to let us know how secure their sites are by showing their successes. As it is, all that we, as players, can reasonably assume, is that the only time cheaters are caught is when players rat on other players. This can be a dangerous strategy for the sites to take, however these days that seems like the ONLY way that people are caught cheating. Even though I hate witch hunts the sites don't seem to be giving us a choice.
12. Precisely Marvin. (fyi - you are my favorite alltime PR MTT player) The sites seem to have a conflict of interest when it comes to policing themselves. I mean, why should they tell JJProdigy not to enter twice in the same tourney? Why would they stop someone who generates so much rake that they won a contest? I've thoroughly scoured the regulatory documents of the Kahnawake Gaming Commission and eCOGRA, and believe that member sites are adequately audited for things such as "random hands", etc. However, no where does it say that the sites are evaluated for their abilities to catch and prevent player-based frauds against other players.

13. Where is this information from? References please?
14. The players names and signup dates are all available at www.pokah.com. The information regarding the incident in 2003-2004 can only be verified by other players who were around at that time.

15. i know for a fact that beanzo altbili livewire quicksand brokedikdog nubaseball quicksandx...are all between 18-23 go to school in whichita and are the same couple people.
16. i used to play the 10-20 nl game with altbili...actually a really cool guy. We became table friends, and he told me that they are all the same poeple.
17. A player name irishcurve86 who also plays in the $100-100 games has the following response: "I got many messages asking why i was hiding and not responging. Sorry i was playing 50-50 nl then went to bed. I know 91 and beanzo/quicksand personally. Went to the casino with them . We have vaguely spoke of the incident and i dont know all the details or care to indulge what i do know. The facts are that i will never say ne thing regarding them. IF they would like to they an if they feel so obliged. I know that i would sit at a 3 handed table with the 2 of them and have no fear of cheating. THey rarely for one thing ever play at the same tables. Beanzo is moreof a 50-50 100-100 nl player while 91litibia hands around 20-20 and sometimes 50-50. So you rarely see them on the same table. You might want to do a little research into X65 and Hoppas maybe you will something nice. Next I oculd really care less what you guys have to say about my atttude. My view is that yahboohoo is getting angry about a game he doesn't even play and the people concerned aren't bc they dont see anything. Maybe there is osmehting maybe there isn't. I see it as would u quit playing for your college baseball team bc the pros use juice? No. Just because its one incident your running from online poker, doesn't make much sense i guess. Ya cheating occurs, but i have seen it at the casino as well."

18. Well, there used to be 3-4 of these Wichita players at the same $1-2 NL table back in 2003-2004. So how many UNIQUE HUMAN BEINGS are we talking about?

19. Marvin during that king of the ring promo that Beanzo won, i belive fisherman took 2nd and stacknchips took 3rd. I sat there and watched LiVeWirE dump off HUUUUGE pots to BeanZo. Now if I re-call coorectly the winner of the king of the ring promo meant that you had to spend the most amount of hours at the tables and also win the biggest pots. i AM 100% sure that LiVeWiRe was dumping to BeanZo on sevreal occasions. Then they pretended to have a discussion after Benazo won a $6,000 pot of Livwire. Beanzo raised Livewire reraised...Beanzo pushed for like 8k and livewire called. Beanzo won and showed A-K and livewire showed J-4. Aftre the habd was over they pretended to have a heated discussion about the hand, where LiVeWirE said it was a misclick and he wanted his money back. BeanZo said tough shit and left the table. This happend on several occasions.
20. ...wow...
21. yeah crazy shit, beanzo won 50k cause of it
22. crap....whats the best way to clean puke from between my keys?

23. I believe you folks are starting to see the light. When you can make $50,000 dumping $10,000 pots back and forth (with a little money wrangling through NETeller), and can make $10,000-30,000 in a single session, you get a clear sense of WHY someone would do this. You'd THINK these people would be smarter about this, but greed often goes hand-in-hand with stooopididy.

28. Two other high-stakes players in OnGame's network have been previously prevented from playing each other:

irishcurve and lent

Yet these players are allowed to continue playing in the biggest games available online.

So now I've been able to verify that on TWO separate occassions, THREE different players who have had their accounts restricted from playing certain other players have been allowed to play in OnGame's $100-100 with Daniel Negreanu/KidPoker.

29. Here is irishcurve's story about what "he knows". He has met --in person-- albtili19/91ilitbla and BeanZo. He confirms the heart of these accusations. And each time he opens his mouth, new light is shed on the discussion:

http://www.pokerroom.com/pokah/forum...dNumber=134866

It is fascinating to watch his story migrate from denial to concern.

30. I would suggest editing the title of this post to "Evidence of High Stakes Collusion Ring on Poker Room." Hopefully that will get the attention of Poker Room reps and they'll respond to these allegations.
