I was hoping to get a confirmed answer on how these situations are dealt with and I'll try and give an easy example:
Hand #1
Seat 1 - Dealer
Seat 2 - Small Blind
Seat 3 - Big Blind
Seat 4
Seat 5
Lets say the small blind (seat 2) folds pre-flop and then gets up from the table and before this hand ends another player sits down in seat 2. I understand that this new player in seat 2 should have the button skip over them, but who gets the button and posts the blinds on hand #2?
What happens on the following hands? -
Button stays seat 2 and new player has to sit one hand. Thats the way it is at every casino I have been to. After the button passes he should have to post to get a hand.

thanks!!

Button will be at seat 2 following the hand and the new person at Seat 2 will be dealt in after the button passes (for cash games, this person will be asked to post the SB & BB to be dealt in for hand #2 or wait until the BB comes back to him/her)

just to clarify I want to know how sites do it online, Kamikaze I think that rule is for Casino's only because I've never seen that done online.
