1. I seem to remember a holdem tournament on TV where some one went all in and the opponent (the only remaining one in the pot) was able to expose hole cards to the all in opponent while making his decision

I looked in Roberts rules ok poker and have not found a clear answer

under section 15: Tournaments
it states
21. Showing cards from a live hand during the action injures the rights of other players still competing in an event, who wish to see contestants eliminated. A player may not show any cards during a deal (unless the event has only two remaining players). If a player deliberately shows a card, the player may be penalized (but his hand will not be ruled dead). Verbally stating one’s hand during the play may be penalized.

Then in the glossary it doesn't define event as the hand or the tournament itself....

anybody know?
2. the event is the tourney
3. I think it was Daniel Negreneau who did this to try to get a read during the heads-up poker challenge. His opponent (I don't remember who) was all-in on the river, and Negreneau showed his cards in an effort to get a tell. Apparently this was legal, but Negreneau (correctly) ended up folding the hand after going in the tank for several minutes.
4. yeah... this is what i think i remember... but they weren't heads up at the time were they... there were other ppl still in the touney just not in that hand when it happened right?

5. when you and only one opponent are left in a hand it is ok for either of you to expose your cards. If there are more than 2 people still involved in the hand then obv it is not allowed
