  1. Lets say blinds are 25-50 and you raise in middle position with something like KQs, then someone raises to 300. What is your typical move here? This is def. one of the biggest leaks in my game.

I usually call, and then fold like a little girl on the flop. Should I try to re-pop? This move pisses me off the most because, like I said I dont have a clue what to do. Do you think people are doing this more often now these days to represent a big hand or to take control of the play pre-flop?

Thanks for the help in advance.
  2. I always find myself confused in this situation as well. I would call, and proceed with caution after the flop.

It really pisses me off when people min raise me though. If I have a big hand, I normally just insta shove.
  3. It really just depends on your hand.. If you raise middle position with JJ-AA (and probably even 99-TT for me).. and they min-raise you, I immediately re-raise them 3x more (in this case to 900).. I want a race with those hands.. This range also includes AK and SOMETIMES AQ (depending on the person who min-raised me)..

Something like KQs I think you have to call. It's not THAT much more and you do have a pretty good hand. You hit a King or a Queen, then re-evaluate your hand and see where you stand.

I actually read a post the other day on something pretty similar to this.. The advice was.. If the person who min-raised you is a good player.. Call.. if they're a bad player, fold. Because it's normally the bad players who try to disguise their aces and/or kings by min-raising..

Definitely a good question.. Cant wait to hear some more input..
