    I like espn most of time or now during playoffs and then swich to Travel Channel

    GSN High Stakes Poker....nothing calms me down more than the soothing voice of The Mouth. That and every bad beat just doesn't seem quite so bad in comparison.

    if ur serious about playing you shouldnt be watching tv at all while playing, can only hurt someones attention span at the table....imo

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^One of the hardest things to do is shut off the tv, especially if you only play 2-4 tables.

    I'm really not "serious" about playing at this point. Usually when I play larger field, or higher stakes tournaments, I won't have anything on....maybe some music, but that's about it.

    But in some cases, I need entertainment from time to time....especially playing in the $1.10 MTT's. The only time I've turned off the TV during these tourneys is when I cash and have a legitimate chance to go deep.

    Otherwise...GSN baby!!!

    Normally i try the ole "no distractions", but when i do watch the boob tube, i watch either, the Leafs. prison break, house or a great show on GSN called winning poker with noah boken and tony g.
