Ok, think I got a competition structure that most will like, and hope you are all happy with what I have come up with. I plan for this to be the first of many similar comps I run in coming months, so if the buy-in/volume cap/structure not right for you just now, I'll be sure to take your opinions on board for next comp.

An individual Rush on Demand competition will be run throughout the month of February, beginning 00:00 ET on Tuesday 1st February, and closing 23:59 on Monday 28th February.
Please follow this link for official sign-up and scoring thread:
http://www.pocketfives.com/f7/offici...thread-617157/
This will be a 3 Tier contest, with levels being micro, low and mid-stakes. Buy-in levels for these tiers can be found below:
Micro - $4.40
Low - $12
Mid - $26
Buy-in amounts to the contest for each tier ar as follows:
Micro - $50
Low - $100
Mid - $250
Scoring will be tracked via private Sharkscope Leaderboards, and will be based on stars TLB system. I have used this successfully for the last 2 comps I have run on here, and feel it is the best way to ensure the contest remains exciting and close throughout. There will be a cap of either 100 or 150 games for each tier, depending on which number is most popular with runners. (I know there might be many of you who think you'll get in way more than that, but I want this comp to attract as many players as possible, so it will stay no bigger than 150.) If you play more than 100/150 games within the month, only your first 100/150 games will count.
Pay-out structures will depend on how many runners each tier gets, this will be confirmed on the day the contest starts and sign-up closes. The proposed pay-out structure is as follows;
1 - 10 runners: 100 percent of prize pool
11 - 20 runners: 70/30
21 - 30 runners: 60/25/15
I have held the monies for 2 contests on here with no problems, happy to provide references etc. However, if anybody who wants to compete and is unhappy with me holding, let me know and I will try to arrange for a fellow p5er to hold. I will create a sign-up thread and begin receipt of payments on Monday 24th Jan if all a happy with me holding.
Please find below the names of those interested so far, I will update this as much as possible and split players into tiers as and when they let me know which tiers they are interested in playing. Lets make this happen, think it could be really sick and will be the start of ongoing monthly contests for these Rush on Demand tournies.

You can count me in for the $4.40.
I would prefer 100 games. -
count me in for 4.40 as well, and i would also prefer 100 games.
-
+3
-
Count me in for $4.40 and I'm with Nate on the 150.
-
Thanks guys, can you let me know what level of buy-in you are interested in. Like I said, will start sign-ups tomorrow, if only have enough interest in one or two tiers then thats what I'll roll with
-
interested in the $4.40. Would prefer 100 games..
-
I'm down in the $4.40's for whatever. Doesn't matter to me if It's 100 or 150 I just know that I might not reach that number because I only grind 1-3 days per week. As long as that won't affect my final score I'm okay joining up.
How do we go with avg ROI on sharkscope for the month? Is there a leaderboard for just Rush on Demand or can we make a custom leaderboard? -
Im for the $4.40's......Using ROI preferrred, next month is only 28 days anyway so id rather go with best 100 scores and let the 40 tables at a time players play all they want.......
But i wont hold out...ill play at least once no matter the format. -
Interested in $4.40 100 games... Will send money over next weekend if that's cool..If it ends up 150 games I'll get in next month..
-
Im in for the $4.40. 100 or 150 are both fine with me.
-
Thanks for all suggestions, thought I better pop in my thoughts aswell.

I agree with some that 150 games isnt many, but like I said I want to attract as many runners as possible, definitely happy to look at different options for next comp.
Thought I better put in my thoughts, I'm in for $4.40 tier, preferring 150 games. Reason I think stars TLB scoring system is a good way because it encourages runners to play as close to the cap as possible, but at the same time does not require a minimum amount of games to be played. For instance, if we make it a minimum of 100 games, that will discount so many players who dont quite get 100 games in, like if they hit 97 or something.
Thoughts...?
Yes, I will set up a private leaderboard on SS to track all scores. I would rather base it on Stars TLB system for reasons in my above postOriginally Posted by jsagan77

Good thoughts. It would be great if FTP would create a tiered leaderboard for Rush since they seem to be so proud of them.
-
Im down for the 4$ ones with 150 games
-
in for the 4s
-
In for 12 and 26. 150 pleaze.
