15 left, Im 13th in chips at the time, jurian is 3rd, and 1nasty is CL. I had not seen jurian 4x pre prior to this. If I call and win Im 5th in chips with 15 left and I have a very fun stack where I can be picking up blinds and such. What kinda ranges are we putting the otehr 2 guys on, and what are we doing?
  2. I think with your desperate stack of <10 BB's you should be calling here. Chances are you'll be headsup with shover with dead money in pot.

  3. would fold pretty quickly..also, our chip stack has basically 0 bearing on our decision here

^This. I'm calling off here myself.
  5. I'd muck it.....if nasty is competant I doubt he's shoving into the 3rd largest stack without a hand that's ahead of 10's.......AK the best you could hope for
  6. i watched it happen, def dont mind ur play

Did you see the hand I ended up going out on? I didnt save it, but it was a button shove, and I called off with 7bbs with 89hh. Did it make sense to stack off there? I was basically hoping to be up against random broadways, and some weak A's? I felt I was close to 40/60 against the 11bbs button.

My immediate thought was that I had to fold. IMO 4x is often 99-JJ, and AQ+ So I wouldve felt comfortable shipping it against the initial raiser. The 40bbs reshove is what really threw me off. The only way he is shipping semi light is if he thinks the original raiser has a strong but vulnerable hand that he would fold, but even if he is shoving light, im likely a coinflip at best... Reshoving the 40bbs looks really strong, so unless he was just on another level to get the first raiser to fold, I think I have to fold here...

I ended up folding, and there was no showdown, so I'll never know... after that I went on to get an endless string of 83 and 72os, and ended up getting it in 89hh vs KJos..

    thanks for the responses....

  10. sigh fold if u dont think hes reshipping light, but just snap if ur oi tbh
  11. I think you have to call here. The 4x is going to be folding so much of the time that you're getting a heap of overlay and I think you can discount AA/KK a bit on this shove... I'd say you're up against AK more than any other hand.

    ^^^^^ this and QQ

  13. Never gonna debate with the guys that made a gazillion $ playing poker so if it is a clear fold than that is what it is. Obv you have the orig 4x raiser in the mix as well but assuming he folds getting a juicy 1.7 to 1 needing around 37% seems awful tempting as TT is 36.4% against QQ+,AKs,AKo. If you take out the AA you get up to 40%.

Just sucks to blind down anymore here and AK shows up a ton here and QQ is harder to be dealt. Agree this is a fold but sure is tempting to reach for the fuggit button and hope for a race.

  14. I would call here. I may be wrong, but I wouldn't take mid pps 77+ out of shover's range. But at best you are flipping like most ppl are saying, which I wouldn't mind a good flip at this point with our stack. Obviously it would be an absolute killer if villain flipped over JJ, which I can see him shoving more than most hands here. I'd still prolly call tho.
  15. I'm calling here for sure

  16. With no reads i am folding here. Dont think your doing to hot verse any of their ranges, and as gags said, ur chipstack shouldnt influence you to call here.

I guess i coulda just said "what gags said" but ya...

  17. In this situation i would fold if i had double the amount of chips to lose, but with under 10 BB's i'm clicking call very quickly.
