We are down to 10 players ,the players at this final table bubble are not that good but Macmoy seems kinda solid, Joschi17 was a week player. He will limp small pairs even at this blind level call raises also.
I really didn't know what to do in this spot with A10 suited. I could 3 bet or shove all-in or just call the raise? The problem I have about shoving all-in was that I was worried that Joschi17 will call my shove. His calling range was pretty wide. But maybe I should not worry about that.
How would you guys play this hand, BTW this hand cost me the tournanment. -
easy fold honestly; worst position postflop and trouble hand; calling raises with a10 will lose u money; i d rather call with 22 s

Depending on the frequency of Macmoy's opens and the range of Joschi's flat, I like to shove here. I think that you have a lot of fold equity on the final table bubble and a huge ability to chip up from taking the blinds + the two initial bets.

Considering we're 5 handed, and on the final table bubble -- I'd venture that Macmoy and Joschi will be folding a large portion of each of their respective ranges (as a shove will almost entirely commit MacMoy, and Joschi's flat calling range is surely very wide with his stack size and position), with a call usually meaning that you are behind or flipping, still, there is just so much fold equity out there that this still seems to me to be a +EV spot for a shove.
Flatting seems kinda gross given your position and how ATs plays OOP vs these guys post flop, however, a fold pre also seems fine. A bit nitty (to me), but fine. The biggest thing that hits me about a hand like is this there is going to be a huge difference between the ranges that each of you opponents open and flat, and that it is really only the very top end of this range that is calling you. Ask yourself, if you were either of these players -- what are you calling with in this spot? I'd venture something along the lines of 99+, AQo for Macmoy, and probably a little looser for Joschi, maybe 66+, AJs+.
Sure, you are almost always behind or flipping when called (and you're basically never a favourite unless someone makes some queer hero call), but I still think there is just so much fold equity out there that this is a +EV spot to get it in. I guess it depends on whether you want to *make* the FT, or whether you are here to win, and looking to exploit every possible spot to try and maximise your chances -- I know which I choose, even if it does mean that I've had way more final table bubbles than I care to remember... -
Kinda interested in knowing what his utg opening range is? Any numbers on him? Do you know if he is only opening top range hands utg? Pretty much what Oddy. said about depending on his opening range cuz i like a shove here too.
-
I'll most likely fold here, though I might shove, but never flat this hand. If this is AQ/AK, ez shove. Let the loosie call. The opener should have a wider range than normal, but playing this OOP will only bring trouble.
-
If original raiser has been opening a lot of pots and flatter might be calling with a wider range it's a good spot to shove. If play has been tight then its a easy fold.
