  2. Now I'm no expert, but with an M ~7 you probably should have shoved pre flop. With the big stack in the BB, your min raise is just begging for a call. And you still have enough fold equity to put it all in.

When he led out for 800 into a 3850 pot on the flop, I think you definitely should have raised all in w/ 2nd pair and the two-way straight draw. You probably have the best hand...and even if you don't you have outs. He basically "bought" a cheap turn card to try and make one of his draws by throwing out that little blocking bet.

After the turn, I think the hand pretty much plays itself.

Ultimately, I think shoving PF or on the flop would have been best. However, even if you made a decent raise on the flop or turn instead of just calling you might have guessed at a possible flush draw when he called your raise. This may or may not have slowed you down on the river, saving chips, but at least you got some more information. Flat calling doesn't reveal much about what you're up against.

    Hope that helps!
  3. shoulda raised more pf. something like 2500-3200, looks like you gave him a discount ..as played reraise all in on flop
  4. What kind of event is this? Is this an 18 man where 4 pay or something, or is everyone in the money?

This is an ugly sort of middle hand. On the button, you might be good, but you can get called with a lot. If anything though, you can't play it like that (with a min raise). You either have to raise decent or just fold. I like raising, since your probably good (and even hand like K3 that's beating you may fold these spots.

So, make it 2400 to go, and then on this flop, you would get the rest of it in on the flop.

Once you min raise, you get into a very ugly spot (which is why you shouldn't). You don't love your hand, but too good to fold. Again, you either need to raise big or go home.

Once you butcher it to this point, good call on the turn. I would have rather had you call the river. Your river raise is completely useless. He's going to cry call with the jack. About the only hand that mght fold here is the K10, and that just isn't that likely. Once he reraises you on the river, you know your beat and you can't make him fold, no point throwing the last 3200 chips in there, live to play another hand.
  5. ummmm..... fold preflop anyone?
