  1. Not a very large sample on villan, as he has only been at the table for 32 hands. He has opened and raised limpers, as well as 3 bet more than anyone at the table. my image has been very solid 19/13 and villan at 25/19!

What is your line in this spot? The pot represents 21% of my stack before i invest any chips..........

  2. I always here the saying your never getting called by worse! But i can never get a grasp on what it means late in mtt's! I understand it in the early stages. If someone could explain how this applies in late game?

  3. you are definitely getting called by worse here. I think you played it perfect. i would guess a decent calling range to be 77+ aq+
  4. Thanks for reply!!! Are we ever calling here in the BB for such a good price!!!!

  5. Calling is bad as your going to have to fold so much of the time, 3betting with this stack is pretty much the same - if he calls your lost, if he jams over you have to call anyway and your prob in bad shape, so shoving is best v this laggy guy.
  6. Shove>Fold>Raise>Call
  7. Like someone above said your def getting called with worse. His calling range is 55+, ATs+

  8. Shove you only have 19bbs. Maybe this will help...when you have <20-25 bbs should be shoving once you have >25 bbs or so you can start 3b/c to induce worse to shove, since some players may think they have fold equity if they 4 bet shove. This also applies the same way to effective stacks, so if opponent only has 20 bbs and is opening they are usually not folding as often to a shove, so a shove can be perceived as weaker from their point of view, where as a 3 bet may look a lot stronger.

When in spots like this always ask yourself what my perceived range is and what the villains calling or 4 betting range should be and how does our hand play against those ranges. Pokerstove is a gr8 tool to help you with equity in these spots.

Is this true? I'm a donk but I'm never folding 99 in the BB to a minraise, I play it like shove>raise>call>fold.
  10. anything but fold would be the right play but shove is by far the most profitable play.

  13. I like shoving. you can also make it 14 and call a jam or shove any flop. Shoving is less exploitable, but i'm not sure its is more profitable, I'd have to see some numbers on that. calling sucks; folding is burning money.

  14. Aww eeeeeeen only option.

  15. insta-ship. dont look back
  16. 3b/c is probably better..make it like 11000, any more it's pretty obvious you're not folding...but because i don't want to have to make a tiny 3b OOP i'd shove too.
