  1. First!!! oh wait, nope.

I think anyone decent could FT any major if they had 8-10 accounts in it eventually. Like after 6-8 tries you gotta run good once. I am saying this because who knows if he is even any good, at all. Every tourney he entered he may have had 3-4 accounts at a table. He looks like he is sooo good cause he won a couple, but I really think anyone could had done what he did if they were stupid, corrupt enough.

these guys are scum of the earth and anyone supporting these kids has to be connected or in it in their own way.
  2. seriously, is this thread worth reading?

    if not, cliff notes plz
     1
  3. go jump outta a tree
  4. i forgive him

  5. i'll try cliffnotes for ya

jj apologized again. he says he sees the error of his ways and won't do it anymore and this time he really means it

a lot of people wished him luck to turn things around

some people want to kill him or atleast do bodily harm

people who have been directly stolen from (we have all been indirectly stolen from) are not forgiving so easy

nutswingers started out saying how great jj is until they were thrashed and trashed and pretty much went away (for now)

multi-accounting is bad except for the moral and ethic bankrupt who still see nothing wrong

jj answered a lot of questions except the tough ones or the ones that would truly show contrition and wants to help the poker sites with security

if i have to phrase my posts twice as strongly just to counter anyone delusional enough to be encouraging towards this scumbag, then im more than happy to. if i were to read my replies in this thread in 10 yrs, im highly confident i wouldnt regret a word.

As such, none of us could even stumble upon questions that would address such items.

It is my opinion you're trying to come across as one who will reveal all by "answering anything that is asked", but that just simply cannot be all of it. Your apology, attempt #3 or #4 or whatever it is, spends a fair amount of time explaining why you did it and why it was wrong and why you won't continue; however, that part should consist of a mere paragraph or two in my opinion. You need to lay it all on the line, yourself, in tremendous detail, to even sniff some sort of credibility. Quite frankly, not remembering is not acceptable. Spend days, weeks or months compiling data about what you did and lay out a plan to make it right.

A simple "I'm sorry and won't do it anymore" doesn't cut it. You shouldn't even have to be prompted by questions, you should answer everything we could dream up and then some. Until then, and quite likely not even then, you're a selfish fraud that only says what the masses want to hear when your own circumstances require it.

From what I can tell, he is attempting to make money off of giving away this information. If true - that should tell you enough about his character and his sincerity. He is not going to give up making money.

What?? This clearly isn't it at all. I would like to first offer any information I have to the sites, and then after that, evaluate with them if I should make a detailed post and make a thread. I feel that this would be the best and most logical decision for the poker community.

I don't want to tell you how to think/feel, but seriously...you can't honestly believe that this move is in the best interest of the poker community? Everyone you protect and all the secrets that you have yet to disclose continue to go unsaid...this only benefits you and those you serve to protect. You can't just give us what we already know, withold what we have an idea about, and then talk of starting anew. This sounds more like remodeling than "a fresh start"...

If you consider just the people who have benefited from your unethical online behavior as the "poker community", then yes...however, this would be the ONLY way it could be considered "the best and most logical decision for the poker community." Otherwise, this reeks of gameplanning.

4th question: Did you play as any of the players above, and if not, are you those players?

5th question: Please name the charity you will be donating the winnings you and your crew have cheated out of everyone

6th question: Have you reported yourself to the IRS yet?

    1) FishOnTilt is a 16 year old kid who started in the game very closely to what I did.
    2) Taze is an 18 year old kid who is very very cocky and rubs off as very annoying and pompus, but he has a lot of talent as well.
    3) No
    4) I am not these players
I have paid taxes on my winnings. I don't like being accused otherwise falsely.

I can't sort through all this crap, but I did make it to page 3 and liked the partial answer to question 4.

  13. JJ, I truly hope you are sincere in this latest apology. However, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't skeptical. I deal with kids everyday who will say all the right things when they get caught. They tell you how they've learned their lessons and they'll do better the next time. 9 times out of 10, they're simply saying whatever they can to get out of trouble and save face. Its sad but true. I hope you're the 1 out of 10.

As a poker player, I'm nowhere near the rolled player I could be if I didn't have a different calling in life. I make a decent side income playing this game but nothing to make me wealthy. It bothers me greatly that a kid with your mind and ability continues to abuse this game that has fought for generations to be recognized as worthy and skillful game. I only wish I could be as gifted as you are at online poker. The really sad part is, if you only chose to not be a cheater, you'd more than likely find success the right way. Endorsement deals etc would surely come your way that would be FAR more lucrative than anything you'd make actually playing.

Bottom line is, it pisses me off that you seem to be in that 9 out of 10 population.
Good luck in the future and I wish you well. However, forgiving and forgetting are two different things.

i think that he did a pretty good job, it was rapid fire for about 3days
  15. I wonder if he thinks hes going to get the shit kicked out of him if he plays live and bumps into someone that recognizes him. His picture is all over the internet. I posted a few days ago and I have been thinking of what it would take to set different ips, creating accounts and playing all these tournaments using multi accounts and it occured to me......didn't he, (while playing. I mean we are talking hundreds of hours of play here), didn't he ONCE think "this is fucking wrong here. What I'm doing is fucking wrong". As a player not a cheater/thief, I consider any cashes from the wins using this type of MA, simply "dirty money". It's one thing trying to find a way to fuck the online casinos (cause we all know, online casinos are out there to suck you dry), but to screw over other poker players, guys who are like me and have a lesser edge than you since you are supposed to be a poker pro, I say SHAME ON YOU MAN! It doesn't matter how much you apologize, I think you are weak and I have no respect for you. To me, you don't even need to try and "do some good to the online poker community". Even if I see your name ranked as number 1 online, I'm still going to believe you cheated your way there.

  16. ok JJ here goes...

I believe everyone makes mistakes and deserves second chances. None of us are perfect. Having said that, do you honestly expect anyone to believe anything you say?

You pulled off an amazing feat JJ. You have most people thinking you were just a "mentor" to a couple of young kids. I am not in the "most" category. You already proved to me just how smart you really are. I know there is no way you can come clean and truly tell everyone the ENTIRE truth because if you did you would be hated even more than you are now. I bet you got a great laugh while it lasted, but now that you got people life bans you feel guilty again (cough cough).

Imagine if this community found out how many accounts (poker, aim, email) you really have. They wouldn't be so forgiving then would they JJ?
  17. i like how he just puts his face out there for everything that he's done, and feel safe about it to play at the Aussie million.

usually when you start some shit like this, you don't flamboyantly flaunt yourself off.

srsly give up poker in general, you do deserve a beating for being greedy and starting all this shit.

i basically despise you, you have sullied the game i like, and it just won't be the same. i don't need to forgive you. forgiving someone is easy to say if you don't understand the impact it has. so those who say they forgive is just a word, but you really have no idea what it means, or what the impact of what he has done means.

one day, online poker may seem safe and kinda fun again. to me atleast.

I never cashed out. Whatever I won, I invested (and lost) in backing. People overvalue my networth extremely.

So you never cashed out, yet you paid taxes on all your winnings????? Hmmmm......that doesn't seem to add up..........
