They merely linked transfer histories and discovered who I was and how people were affiliated with me. I didnt have much funds in my accounts, those were siezed, and the people I got banned were allowed to cash their funds out.

What sites are you banned from? Just FTP and stars? What about AP, UB, and Bodog? Do you play on those sites?
-
how much was the rate for buying an account? can u giv an example or 2?
how much have u had confiscated from sites? even w/ party poker included?
do u think that ur gonna get ur ass kicked from this?
hows ur gramma? did she ever know? or did u line up a sik retirement home for her? -
I think I recently said this, but looking at their transaction history, we were trasnferring back and forths 10s of ks on a frequent basis. All of my accounts were linked to this and they could see my progression of accoutns just through the transfering history with these guys.

could you explain to these guys in your words why they deserve the banhammer? pstars has their own reasons, i have a few of mine but i think if you explained to all those who feel nothing was done wrong could hear it from the horses mouth it would not only help a lot of us, it would show you in a different light -
1. will u teach me so u dont have to MA?
2. are you a multi millionaire?
3. whats the highest stakes cash uve played?
4. why are some horses so good and some suck soo bad?
5. were u at the USC - OSU game? -
I never cashed out. Whatever I won, I invested (and lost) in backing. People overvalue my networth extremely.

would like to know this

It's hard to believe this is sincere considering the past. I would say one major component of receiving some real forgiveness would be finding a way to pay restitution to as many affected parties as you possibly can. With your skill level, you obviously will make all of it back in the future and then some.
All of this is very heart-rending but in the end nothing says "I'm sorry" like cold, hard cash. Don't try to rationalize this fact away (it's difficult, it's hard to measure what I took from who, etc.), just accept it and make some type of gesture of this type. Even if you can't completely account for the dollar amount of wrong and harm you have caused, doing something will go a long way to smooth over the angry feelings you have created along the way. Expecting your victims to simply forgive you for the sake of forgiveness means nothing if you continue to spend what should have been their hard-earned and honestly won money. -
I wholeheartedly agree that no one should be given access to such secure information. Rather, the site should use someone like this as an "outside consultant" for informational purposes to educate it's internal employees. Like a case study of sorts.

Good point Poncho. The best way to accomplish something like this is, like poncho said, to reveal everything. Explain where the "weak spots" and loopholes are, how you did exploit them, and how you might exploit them again. Then you can formulate a way to prevent these and help the poker site find its leaks.
Tell the sites how it happened and how they can prevent it from happening again before you divulge this information to the public.
EDIT
Oh, and regardless of how much you apologize, known cheaters should not be given inside information on the security systems poker sites have in place, period. I don't claim to know whether or not you're sincere in your apology and desire to reform, and I do hope for your sake more than everyone else's that you are, but you don't give the fox the keys to the chicken coop no matter how well behaved he is. Let's not create the temptation for someone trying to reform to cheat by making it easier on them to beat the system. -
Some have pointed out the big tourneys you have played in the last month and a half, including the $10k WCOOP just last week. Explanation? Was this most recent apology the result of another epiphany in the middle of the night? Are you going to disclose names you will be playing under in the future?
I wish you good luck on following through this time. It appears to me you have an addiction (to money) and have yet to walk the talk. Consult with Justin Bonomo, in my opinion. -
No they haven't. I e-mailed reps at both pokerstars and FullTilt today and am waiting to hear from them.

Why do you write one of these lame apologies everytime you or one of your ass clowns get caught?? Dude....nobody believes you. I seriously doubt I will ever be in any of the same live tournaments as you or one of your BJ buddies, but I might....I will be sure to introduce myself to each of you.
-
What exactly are you confessing to? I mean everyone knows you play/played on a ridiculous amount of names. Are you saying that this is all you did? Not to say that MA'ing isnt a big issue.... But youve apologized 30 times and havnt admitted doing anything from what I've read.
I dont want to accuse you or others involved with you, so I'll leave the account buying, account handing off and exactly how many players you had "playing for you and xxx" up to you to either divulge or ignore. -
Who approached who for backing deals? Did you approach "said players", or did they come to you?

Unfortunately, everyone on this site has never done anything wrong in their lives or given a second chance or 3rd chance - There is reason things like GA, AA, etc are around bc they work - GL with ur effort in changing, wish u all the best -
I think you're a good guy Josh, I doubt very many 16-18 year old kids would pass on the opportunity to make the kind of money you made even if it meant breaking some rules, considering there were no legal reprocutions. I'm sure you'll be all right in life without poker, and hopefully the sites will allow you back in time. It's kind of sad that people are so worked up about this issue, obv it's wrong to cheat but I'd say you've been the guy that takes more heat than anybody, even websites that actually have it set up so it's impossible to win. GL with whatever you do for the time being, if it's school or other poker sites, or new accounts.
-
you must have had monies coming in from somewhere right??
also are u planning to jus play live from now on or do you paly on any other sites?
oh and a good idea to give something back to the communtiy might be some kind of free instructional vid :) oh and post in pd -

hey man, you've done some crazy shit and it's easy for people to forget you're just 16. we all make mistakes. if you are really genuine with this apology and you're not just bullshitting us, then you got my respect.
hope to see you on the tables sometime. (well, not really. stay away from my tables plz. i like chips) -
I won't. I understand it is extremely tempting, but I believe the right thing to do is respect my ban from that site.
-
did you take over for plattsburgh in the 300r?
-
wait this kind of reminds me you were already banned right?
so, this apology (yes it is on the day after mantis and sooners got banned etc) is actually not because you were caught doing anything further right?
