    the villain was raising me a lot throughout and check-raising me and bet-folding to my raises..

    Depends on the player, but if he hasn't been overly aggressive, yes this is pretty bad. He's raising 1/4 his stack pre so more than likely he has QJ beat. Find a better spot.
