background: havent been at his table long hes been opening pots tho and i think this was the 3rd or 4th time i had opened this orbit alone so his play back range is perhaps wider than normal though im sure its wide anyways....

obv i bet flop a lot but checked it for two reasons A. i have a good c/jam stack and B. im not crazy abut getting called and having to evaluate tricky turns with these stack sizes vs a good aggressive player. turn is a no brainer bet imo...

i think calling and evaluating river>shove if u decide to continue though im sure a lot of ppl will say thats bad. personally i cant find enough hands in his range that hed entierly kill his equity with to raise instead of call (JT, KT, A high, worse pairs) but i might be wrong... i think he should/would raise a Q for value but not necessarily is. really shitty spot cuz i look so weak and obv he is able to pick up on weakness but im having trouble finding too many hands hes bluffing with.

    all thoughts appreciated..
  2. for starters, i hate the flop check. i mean, ya u have a good c/jam stack, but r u doin it as a bluff? cause the only hand that calls u thats worse than urs is TT, and MAYBE 88, but doubt it.and then obv random draws, but they would jam on u anyway and ur getting it in either way. i mean, i think betting this flop is a must, ur hand isnt strong enough imo to just take a card off cause like u said, there are a lot of turns taht are tricky. not to mention the added equity that 1$ick will float the flop in position with random hands and then try to take it away from u on the turn.

that said, as played im prolly not folding.

  3. i think the turn bet creates a lot more probs then it can solve...

is it for value/ to induce a raise/ not sure what it does?
it does seem to give him a lot of options tho.

i like check/call turns, but obv could be convinced otherwise as i'm not a high stakes reg... just curious more about reasons its a no brainer?

  4. i think your stack is a little too big for a c/jam on flop. i'd bet flop, i'm guessing he's floating a decent amount and although we'll likley have to c/c on later streets we pick off bluffs a decent amount.
