i have been playing poker for about a year now , and iv been lurkin around here for awhile .
i play alot of poker .
last night i was in a turbo MTT on prima and was on the bubble with 6000 chips after taking a big blow to my stack blinds - 400 800 no antes . blinds go up in a min
i get 75 suited on the button , everyone folds to me
the 2 players remaining are kinda soft . guy in sb has 5000 and the BB has 7000 chips
i push
the guy in the big blind has AQ and calls
i suck out and hit a striaght and take the pot .
he calls me a clown and tells me how bad my play is ,
and no wonder i never make any money ect ect ect ......
i have seen this guy playing at prima for a looooooong time and i know he is a solidwinning player
i normaly make this play all day and twice on thursdays
any advice is welcome

it happens to everyone, keep doing it

It folds to you on the button and you have 7 big blinds.... Easy push.
-
I agree very easy push here in unraised and unopened pot! Any two suited/painted/connected ect.
-
i guess it depends on your image at the table if you've been pushing a lot then i would calm down and wait for somthing a bit more solid (any two paint are enough) but if your image is tight then there's no problem with this play at all and calling with AQ for the vast majority of your stack on the bubble isnt exactly a textbook correct move anyway
-
my table image was loose . 2 times prior to this i had open shoved on the same 2 players.
and befor when i had 12,000 chips i was raising from the cut off / button every single time i was folded to . -
They still need a hand to call you. If they call you light, you're still never in too bad a shape assuming your cards are live.
-
nothing wrong with that play.. most player here would have done the same thing..
-
This was a fine play given your stack and the blinds. If I knew the blinds were atleast playing a fairly tight game I'd do this with anything semi-decent possibly ne 2. And this really stuck out to me in the post I didn't know US Players can still play on the Prima Network?

thanks for the comments.
US players cant deposit at prima , but CAN play if they already had funds in before they closed the doors
i am playing there becuase i have 1k tied up -
obv on push twice on sundays...double pushing on thursdays is for donks
