  1. Staying at TI 1.5k BR to play where should I go what sould I play?? easy 1/2 games

    already checked out allvegaspoker.com

    but you guys recomend

    thanks!
  2. Venetian and Caesars are my favorite as far as 1/2 games go. I'd hit those up, they're pretty easy as far as im concerned.
  3. You'll be hard pressed to find a 1/2 game that isn't easy anywhere. Easiest game is O'Shea's imo. Definitely stick to 1/2 though with 1.5k roll.
  4. Flamingo Poolside
  5. Def check Ceasars and Venetian for tourneys. Mirage and Mandalay have pretty soft 1/2 games from my experience.
  6. The new poker room at the Airport is sick! Easiest game around. look for it.

Is this a level or does this actually exist? I was there a month ago and didn't see anything.
  8. If you are looking for tourneys.......Venetian is having their Deep Stack Extravaganza right now with a $340 tommorrow and a $550 on Friday. Maybe too high for your bankroll. Binions has a $70 with a $40 rebuy at 2pm Saturday and Sunday with a 10k guaranteed prize pool with very weak fields. I dont play 1-2 nl, but you can find a 1-2 game at just about every major hotel. Im guess the games would be tougher at Venetian and Caesars since their is a tourney series going on at those two.

  9. lucky you vegas is the nuts. GL out there.
  10. Surprised no one has mentioned the MGM Grand....good 1/2 game there. Caesars a good game too. Didnt like the Mandalay Bay myself.

I'm sure the aforementioned Deep Stack Extravaganza will lead to some good side action once people start busting from the events, I would go to the Venetian for sure, my favorite room in Vegas for 1-2. If you pick up a few buy-ins try 2-5 at Bellagio or MGM.

  12. try the 20 dollar bill trick wherever you stay, thank me later

Absolutely this. Best return on investment in Vegas. Also, for 1/2 I recommend MGM. Good luck.
  15. Anyone know of any good tourneys in Vegas on a Thursday? I'll be there Dec. 11 and looking for a decent buyin tourney, maybe somewhere between the $300-$1500 range with 50+ players. Thanks in advance.

edit: what is $20 bill trick?

    ?????

Slip the front desk guy a $20 when you are handing him your ID and credit card and ask if they have any complimentary upgrades availible. It helps to know what you want so do some research on the types of rooms they have and most of the time you can get a pretty sick upgrade.

This.... TI has some pretty soft 1/2 games as well. Just pick a place you like and have fun. Its mostly about table selection... You can spot the regulars pretty easily however most of the "good" players are playing 2/5.
  21. Check out the Wynn for their 7 p.m. tourney. 10,000 chips, 25-50 to start, 30 min blinds. only $160 freezeout with soft fields every night

i heard there was some sweet action backstage after the "Thunder from Down Under" shows...they only play with $1 bills though which i thought was strange...

    Same here!

Planet Holywood had a good 1/2NL game - watch out for the dealer/player named Hodi though - he's a shark! lol

Caesar's tourney's are good - wanted to check out the Mirage but never got the chance although the room is very nice. Same with the Venetian gorgeous room but the tourneys were a bit too rich for me.

Have fun & gl - post when you get back!
  24. i get raped every time i play that game.

  25. I thought you were picking up $20 "tricks".

  26. if and when u go broke try and get a job with the mexicans flickin stripper business cards....they alwasy fascinated me
  27. I'd look for any game that has a bigger max buy-in than $200.00, which is a few. The IP is $300, so is the Venetian. MGM Grand was $200 and I actually got yelled at when I put $300 down, AFTER the desk had told me $300 was the buy in...
