  1. I'm headed to Iraq in about 6 weeks so while home on leave in Va acouple of my buddies decided to take a trip to AC. We get up there around 4am and immediatly head to the Taj to start playing. We start off with 1$/2$ 60min/300max. I go in for 300 and I immediatly double up off the chip leader who was trying to bully me around w/ AK when i flopped a set of 4s with a A-K-4 flop. So anyways we play until around noon. So a good 8hrs of playing I'm up to about 900$ so im feeling good and really hungry...heres where it got shitty. I go up to the pit boss and see whats up w/ a comp for breakfast/lunch whatever at this point. He swipes my card sees ive been playing here for 7 hours also sees its my first time here and says no i havent earned it yet. I guess im just too use to Vegas where they gave a fuck about what you thought....I dunno maybe i was expecting too much...But on a side note i played in the Gladiator Games tourney at Ceasers and placed in the money, was a good time there. All in all a very good 2 days for me and my buddies at the tables and followed that up w/ a good night out. GG bare exposure
  2. Congrats on the good trip, and please be safe during your service.

I'm kinda surprised they didn't give you breakfast, at least...here's the math:

The casino is taking $4/hand in rake...at 25 hands/hour, that's $100/hour. At a 10-person table, your cut of that, what you are contributing to the casino (the expectation # they use in calculating comps) is $10/hour. Over 7 hours, you've given $70 in rake.

The average comp gives you 20% back. $70 X 20% = $14...that's a breakfast or lunch buffet, just about anywhere.

I guess, after The Apprentice got cancelled, Trump is tightening up the purse strings again. Cheap bastards.

  3. The taj is so hard to get comps for poker, Pretty much all of the casino's in Atlantic City are hard to get comps, I played like 25 hours of poker at the taj in march in like 3 days and I got nothing, I went to the showboat played like 3 hours of Blackjack got free rooms for the months of April, June, July.
  4. i hear what your saying just in Vegas it seems like there alot more hospitable and want you to come back there to play...was still fun though
