  1. Been wanting to go play in the WSOP ever since I first learned the game at the age of 16. Now I am 22 and finally able to go. Flying out to Vegas in a few hours and am extremely excited. Definately not rolled for it at all, but this is a dream of mine come true so I am soooo doing it. Booked the Venetian for a week, and will just be playing in the first $1k event, but I will finally be able to say I played in the WSOP! Good Luck to me and Good Luck to everyone at the tables, should be an outstanding time!

  4. I did the same thing last year. Ended up bubbling a $1500 event, but either way its a sick time.
    Good luck shipping the event!

Looking at your cashes, you are definitely ready to lay down $1k and ship the bracelet. In all seriousness, good luck, hope you run like a Kenyan.
  8. GL David! BTW, I used to live in those apartments like RIGHT across the street from the ft carson entrance, miss that mountain view!
  9. GL to you man. Played my first event last year and got to KO Erik Seidel, run a huge bluff on Roland De Wolfe, and get completely outplayed by JC Tran in a huge pot. Was fun. :-)

Just play your game and you'll be fine. Don't be nervous. Take some headphones with you to stay in your zone.
  10. gl, be there the 3rd through the 7th. Plan to play events 9, 11 and 13 plus side events and sattys.

why the unecessary bit? Gl lurker hope you do well and have a good time
  12. GL I remember my 1st it was very exciting, if not fullfilling, I also wasn't rolled for it but didn't that affect my play 1 bit. I think this year could be my year to go deep a few times, I finally got off the snide in Vegas last year (was 0/19 in vegas tournies with 3 12 hr bubbles) and have been consistent all this year with my 1st live win in a wsop circuit event prelim tournament (small brag). Hope all P5ers have a great summer in Vegas.

sad that you're 33 and still act like this.
  29. Well, back in Colorado. Ended up lasting about 3hrs 45mins. No real stories to tell, won a small pot off of MoneyMaker. Other than that, I feel I played pretty good, just wasn't happening. Played a bunch of smaller tourneys and managed only to take down the $60 at the Stratosphere. All in All I had a great time in Vegas as always. Can't wait 'till next time.
