live satty, 40 players, 2 main event seats
blinds are 25/50. i'm in the bb with 10 4, utg limps, 4 other limpers and i check.
flop 10 10 10. weee.
i check, utg makes it 175, everyone and their mother calls, i raise to 525.
other info: utg is guy who has already gone all in the 3 hands he has played.
tell me if this is the worst play ever. fml. -
pretty much the worst line ever. making a smaller raise or flatting has to be better. but then again, it's live poker, i doubt anyone folds 22-AA ever on this board, they have a full house, why would they fold

id call. then call any bet on the turn (after play acting like i aactually have to think about calling to show weakness) and then raise anything on the river. eaither way im deffo taking more chips.

Call flop. On the Turn, call without any of the acting bullshit, just throw your chips in after a moment or two. If checked to, you have to bet because they may call one more bet to try to make a full house with pretty much anything J+. Any K+ river, make a large bet, maybe even shove. I don't know how deep you are, but shoving may work out without looking too suspicious.
edit: Obviously betting River regardless of whether it comes K+ or not, but more likely to get substantial payoff with it comes K+. Best case scenario = full house on board. "You call, it gonna be all over baby"...
edit again: ignore the "if checked to part", seeing as you're BB...
Raising the flop is absolutely awful. You're the BB, could have any two cards and you've check-raised?! -
Four handed pot against what you say is a pretty soft/spewy table. Why not use your position and whatever edge you have to your advantage?Im flatting here and check raising the turn and if you get three checks behind chances are your getting some sort of value from any full house on the river. fml if all four miraculously c/f both streets.

FLAT holy shit i cant believed you raise .. turn brings A and you have atleast 1 stack guaranteed. what are you ever check raising with on this board that isnt a 10. Turn card is sure to fill some1 up. Pray for a stack off card like an ace and you ship atleast 1 maybe 2 stacks your way. Check raise when it is likely some1 filled up after flop.
