Florida NL poker...Old Topic new info

    I wake up early this Sunday morning planning to take some of my vegas winnings to the dog track in Daytona Beach, FL with the intention of tearing up the new NL games there. I made the call to the poker room only to discover that they will not be spreading NL today. They will be holding a meeting on JULY F-ING 23rd to determine how they will interpret the language of the law (see old posts for this info). Seems to me that JUNE 23rd may have been a better day for such a meeting. I guess the phrase being on "beach time" extends to poker room managers as well as the eating establishments on the beach.

    Yes, I could drive to one of the Hard Rock's or other tracks, but I'm taking the early flight tomorrow to visit family. If anyone knows of any poker games in or around Little Rock, Arkansas shoot me a PM and we can talk.

    For anyone planning on taking the trip to Daytona try their hands at redneck riviera poker, you may want to wait until later this month. To those of you that don't like the term "redneck", I'm from Arkansas so I have been issued a full license to the use the term in nearly any way I deem neccessary ;-) This license is clearly stated at the bottom of my birth certificate.

    Given that the Pepsi 400 is coming to town, you would think that they would want to have this ASAP if only because of the extra income it would generate. Then again, not sure if they have the personnel there that can handle the extra effort associated with handling numbers other than 1 or 2.

    daytona poker room...is so retared in my book...i moved up to jacksoville...there room is way way way better and they figured out alrdy what there doing..weeee nl

    Yeah, go figure, J-ville has something better than Daytona. I'll probably make it up there when I get back from HOGville to check it out. For now, I'm going to check out the 2/5 limit (aka bingo) poker game at the track. The suncruz boat couldn't even get a NL game going w/ the old farts today at the noon cruise out of Ponce.

    The Daytona Beach area needs a NEW card room. Maybe when I get back, I can try and get w/ some of the guys that run one of those really good games in central Florida. Only now the game would be within the limits of the law, and slightly more player friendly. Once again PM if interesting in discussing this topic (starting room near DAB) or the availability of home games in central Arkansas as I will be there this week.

    Ya the room in J-ville off of Phillips, I think it is the St John's greyhound is way nicer than daytona. They also have more tournaments. That sucks that daytona hasnt switched over yet was planning on going over there during the 400 to hopefull rake it up

    daytona is getting a new track..its supposed to be up by next summer, its supposed to be the best in fl when they get done thats what there saying
