Like I told ya I didnt like the size of your bet. I think you either bet more or check behind. But in the end you didnt get hurt too bad being cautious.
-
i think your a fag.... that is all
-
That's a tough one after the money bubble when you're looking to move up , and it may be one of those situations where folding is +EV in terms of insurance, but -EV for the real money. Your call may depend on your BR. That said, I put him on a drawing hand (A spades) and call and pray.
-
I agree here.
You bet 1/3 of the pair with top pair, top kicker with a flush draw and a straight draw on the board.
Your opopnent looks at this and things you are trying to buy a card for the right price and sticks it to you, then shows his cards because he wanted to let you know he had top pair a good kicker and wasn't gonna let you draw out.
If you had come out and popped it to 3/4 to full pot sized bet it really would've tested the guy with KQ of course if he comes over the top of that for 80K, well then now you've got a real decision.
You could also have check called, and see how it played out after that.
Sticking your whole stack in with top pair top kicker gerneally only gets called by hands that have you beat, So it's hard to recomend that. -
That's an ugly flop.. there's no way ur callin there. your not holding the ACE of spade in ur hand. If in that case u did have that ace of spade you can easily call there
-
with Cougars4444 being involved in that hand, I would insta-fold.
-
I woulda bet about 22k in the 30k pot sir, but wtf do I know....I lost 3 racks in a 2/4mix.
-
It's very hard to analyze this hand in hindsight, but what I see here is the small flop bet basically told your opp. that you hit a drawing hand and want to test the waters to see where you stand. Villan saw it that way and probably thought he was good on that flop and wanted to take it down right there so you don't get your spade.
If he flopped the flush, he is either flat calling you are reraising much bigger(if he hit a low flush).
I can't say I would have made the move and pushed on him, but I think if I really thought it through I could have easily made that play. -
i must be a complete donk cuz i think i would have shoved had him on a pair + a 1 spade.
-
I dont see how you can fold this hand... You made it 3x preflop, with a big stack. What is his range of hands for calling that? There is no way he has 2 pair, and i feel like if he had a small flush he would have re-raised bigger, as others have said. I think if he has a set, he has to lead that flop because he cant afford to give a free card to allow someone to hit a 4 flush. So really, the most logical hands that i think taht he could have are TJ, or a high spade(turns out he had neither! but thats what id put him on). If he already has a large flush, then it was an extreme cooler and you're going to lose some chips, but you have him covered, and even if you double him up, you still have ~30K and can pick up some blinds.
Hes expecting you to make a continuation bet here, no matter what your cards are so i dont see how you can laydown to this raise.
I think i would have shoved, but it took me a while to come to that conclusion. I can understand where you didnt want to take a risk here.
