  2. You can shove, but initial raiser will almost certainly call as he is getting 2-1 on his money. Unless he has Kx (with x below J) he's getting the right price. With a little more bad luck you have someone after you waking up with a good hand, although it would have to be pretty big (JJ+) for them to shove given the initial raise and raiser's stack. Any reads on the raiser??
  3. no reads

do most people take their chances here? cuz he can have lower pps or something too here..

  4. I think you would be lucky to be against a PP. You need the chips so I would gladly take that 50/50 in your position. You better hope you're not up vs. KQ or AJ or something...
  5. I think you are probably beat, but if you want any chance to win this tournament, you kinda have to get it in here and hope you have 2 live.
  6. always better to shove than to call a shove.

  7. Its allways better to be the raiser and not the caller but sometimes you have to get it in bad and get lucky.I don't think you can wait any longer.
  8. I dont like it, but I gotta shove this spot- hope he's got a PP but with 6 bbs I cant see justifying waiting for a better hand

With 13 left in midnight madness last week had 6 bbs had to shove KTo UTG+1 and got it in vs AA vs JJ

Thanks for dream flops baby lol

  9. If this had been passed round to me, I'd push in a second, but not being able to open this pot, with my low M, is giving away too much, with no real FE. I'll swim against the tide and dump this.
  10. when i get 7ish bb's ill reshove with no fold equity with alot of hands.

Hardly; this is why I believe a fold is correct after this pot is opened, as I stated. If the opener has anything for her raise, as others have noted, you're getting called, so you need something better than KJ.
  13. I'd rather be first in to raise a tight players blind with a random hand and hope he folds than to call or re-raise in a spot where it's an insta-call because of pot odds. Like if you raise Dactors blind, he'd be more apt to fold because a call represents a large chunk of his stack. I'd rather do that with a random hand than gamble.

That said, either way re-raising or folding are both not really mistakes since you're so short and you have to gamble before the blinds come around. But this is a personal preference spot and either one can be argued to be correct. Calling is the only stupid option. Raise or fold. Some people min raise with 67s, K3s, Ace Rag and sometimes but a little rarer a pp but if you don't have a read on the player you have to assume you're in a spot where it's 40/60 or 60/40. Your KJ is suited which means if he has an Ace rag, you'll be 45% to win which is better. Honestly, the fact that it's suited I might be more apt to gamble. People don't do the min raise Aces/Kings much anymore so I think I might give it a shot after all. even if you're lucky enough to be 2:1 against two low cards you still have to gamble sometime and this is as good a time as any. That's about it.
