ya sometimes when ur playing too, with match flow, its a easier and quicker fold, u get that instant feeling. Ive folded KK pre 3 times, only 2 i know they had AA, other dunno. Good read, good fold.
-
Can we finally admit as a community that "Yes, there are times when you can fold KK pre-flop in non-satellite tournaments." And this is regardless of players or buy-in.
I mean, I can't. I think I've typed in "You have AA but I'm not good enough to fold my KK" maybe 6 times in the past few months, and every time they had AA. -
when it comes to early stages like this im always on the tighter side. knowing he is a reg and on the tighter side i dont ever see myself calling here (in this particular circumstance). If the variables were different i would be more likely to get it in

if dcoop knows that the lab rat only gets it in with KK+ or AA couldnt he profitably go allin with QQ+ AK if he reads the for bet to be like JJ+ AK?

maybe, except the 3rd raise was from 68owe... that's the guy I'd worry about the read on if I were dcoop -
we definitely can't make that leap
-
the only way i see it logically is that even though there are times you know the other player has AA (or very well does), folding KK opens you up to being exploited big time, even moreso the higher stakes you play i'd imagine as this hand was played at
-
I forget who said it, but "The fourth raise is always aces."
-
the search for a reason to fold KK is over for so many, they can point to this thread now...
and there is much rejoicing. -
What about this hand guys? I don't wanna hijack a thread or anything but when this hand happened a few days ago, the thought of folding KK actually entered my mind. I play mostly tournaments but when I do play cash, I don't really see people 4-betting 40% of their stack light so I had to think about it for a second. Then I realized it wasn't an MTT and stuck it in.

BTW, I flatted to get the squeeze but didn't expect it to go down quite like this.

EH who cares if they both have aces. They have each others outs and u have 2 outs to scoop in a huge pot! ;)
-
tripling up on the 2nd hand would be nice, but not huge.
-
youre supposed to fold... but you call anyway because its KK
bink the K for the huge pot. -
foldddddd, dcoops range alone is KK/AA (without factoring in potential retardness due to late sunday frustration (sum1 said he was deep in some other major so this is irrelevant) ) and then u have the 4bettr to consider, actually an easy fold and i used parentheses inside of parentheses!

I folded KK last night I was prolly ahead but it was the bouble and couldnt risk all my chips
-
Sigh fold. And not because I "sense" AA is "out there" (fml too many lame phrases in this thread), it's just not worth giving up your edge on the field in a marginal spot, especially since Lab Rat is a pretty decent reg. Still hate your life folding mind.
-
At this level, and with these players, its a unanimous fold.
Not often though, at the buy ins, that most of us wannabes play at.
