  1. Alright, I'm kind of a new user. I consider myself a successful low-medium stakes mtt player. my roi is favorable and I generally know what I am doing at the table. Having said that, I have a lot to learn. So my question of the day is how/when do you fold qq preflop. I lost with qq v aa 3x tonight. I understand variance and getting destroyed due to bad luck.It happens. We all deal with it. I don't have the hand histories but essentially, here is the deal. One time I make a move with qq, he had aa, standard. Fine. But TWICE, an early position raiser, whom I 3 bet, shoves....with 30bb+...can I fold qq?....After what happened tonight I would say yes, but I would like some other good players opinion. Thanks.....just trying to fill all the holes I can. ALL comments are welcome...even those that are semi mean.
  2. I'm not good enough to lay down QQ because way too many times I have seen this same situation and they flip over anything from 22-JJ, AT-AK, especially in the lower limits. I had QQ just today, make a standard 3 bet raise and get shoved on by a 30BB stack and a caller. I call. Shover shows 77, caller show AJo. So, yeah, I'm not folding QQ.
  3. Im folding QQ PF in a tourney about 80% of the time depending on the villians, and the stacks if 2 or more AI PF come before my turn of play.

i honestly like to play QQ with a small ball style, in terms of safely raising 3x pf, and calling if someoone 3 bets me, instead of 4bet shoving them. If an A or K hits the flop, i def try and play depending on the situation, but if the boards safe, I'll bet, if opponent RRme, I tend to time bank and assert the situation.

I feel like open blasting QQ PF with >30BB has become -EV ESP. in cash games. Im hardly EVER EVER open blasting QQ PF in a cash game.
