So as some of you may or may not know foolishgolf, cwtreferee and amandaw111 were found guilty by UB of colluding at a final table in which they finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd. There were a couple other tournies where foolishgolf and cwtreferee both finished in the top 3 and unfortunately I was at one of those final table's where I came in 4th. Also the guy that came in 3rd in that tourney happens to be friends and I believe was backed by foolishgolf which I find is very suspicious but Im going to let UB security run there investigation before I start pointing fingers.

I am starting this thread to make people aware of what these guys did and I recommend anyone who has played with them in the past to look through your tourneys not only on UB but stars and FTP as well and try to find any tourneys where they might have had the chance to do the same thing. Obv it would be much harder for them to cheat/collude on a site like ftp and stars because the fields are much bigger but if you do find something suspicious/odd it probably would not hurt to send an email to whichever site it was on and ask for an investigation and also post it here. We do not need people like this in our community and we should do whatever we can to keep cheaters like these guys off the table's at all cost.

That would imply there was like a trial and they did the investigation..lol .. Did I not OPENLY admit to colluding, cheating, then notify the players and ub, and then they confirmed what I said? I DID THE WORK FOR THEM, they still have not sent me MY hand history from that tournament. UB security is a joke. They threatened me and you people give them credit for doing an investigation and making findings..lol.
There is a much bigger problem here I belive. The more I think about it the more I realize ub is/was the only site where even today you can have 2 accounts on both sister sites on the network, STILL play from 2 computers on 2 ip addresses in your house with 2 different accounts in the same tournament and they have NO SAFEGUARDS against multiaccounting. For example, you can register for the 200k for $215 from your 1 ip address at 4:00 est, then bust, tether a seperate IP address from your cell phone/ air card, sign on to the other computer from your UB account at 4:59 spend another $215 and play it out to your hearts desire....correct me if im wrong there, please..because I now can think of a friend of mine that did this from 3 different accounts at home on a constant basis only a month or 2 ago.

In a fucked up way, none of this would have been uncovered if Amandaw111's funds weren't seized and then wasn't bashed by FOOLISHGOLF.. Amandaw, if you know of other cheating going on or that went on, you have nothing to lose at this point by posting about it.. -

he has nothing to gain from posting it on this forum......he made a mistake and has paid for it, just like so many others have, he never came on here saying he was innocent like FG, and CWT....just like i said in the other thread, every tournament with a prize pool of over 10k with out a doubt has some sort of cheating going on it....you can take that to the bank.....if you think the whole UB scandal with seeing people's hole cards was an isolated incident you r very ignorant....potripper was just very dumb and greedy. if they were smart about it they could still be doing it, and to say nobody else is would be just silly. you play at your own risk when you play online, you don't know what's going on at the other end of some 1's cpu

so the bigger issue is that the site isn't protecting enough against cheating? So if I steal from the store, it's more of an issue that the store owner didn't keep his merchandise safe and not that I stole? You are so delusional man.....

wrong....unlike the store owner who cares about his customers, the sites could care less, they're getting paid regardless. how many times has a site come out and outed some of their customers for cheating. everytime a major scandal is brought to light it is by the poker community, then forcing the site to do somthing about it. the site isn't going to come forth and say "oh look, we have a bunch of thieves and cheaters playing here, come join them."Originally Posted by kiro15

Nonetheless, sometimes the amount of respect people get from others is a reflection of the respect they give to others and have for themselves. So here is the thing, since the on-lines sites can stop cheating, but chose not to, people don't really give a fuck. It's like drinking at the beach, or smoking dope at a concert. It may be illegal, but keep it on the DL and it's cool. Rip 7 foot bingers at the show or litter the beach with beer cans and you might have a problem.
I repeat, I'm not defending cheaters or encouraging cheating, just saying fewer people would be inclined to cheat if the sites made it harder or acted like they really gave a damn instead of just giving the appearance they give a damn. -

i would encourage the rest of the players to continue to rally against cheating and pressure the sites; however, there is cheating everywhere. There are roids and HGH in sports, I think G.W. may have stole florida and made up some shit to start a war, there are banks writing bad loans ripping off the government backed loan programs, and companies get "good ol boy"contracts all the time. Cheating is everywhere in the world, so there are only two reasons it would be more rampant in poker: 1)Its easy to do, and 2)the sites don't seem to keen on preventing it. Remember, you are dealing with big stupid fucking corporations that are lazy and don't want to spend money on capital projects, so only after enough pressure comes will one of them decide to make tighter security their "niche" or competitive advantage.
How do you stop cheating? A million ways. Each player must be accessible through either: 1)their speaker/microphone on their computer. 2)Their web-cam, 3)Their registered phone number, or 4)The damn chat box. In a prior post I said it would be just like the bolling alley when you call the attendant. The point is, there are enough EASY, inexpensive ways to ensure the person saying they playing that account is actually there. Another P5 post the other day came from a software engineer who basically said they could easily prevent the ability to control computers in separate locations, or something.
I'm surprised that even outsiide the realm of cheating, the sites haven't invested something to create games that simulate live conditions as close to possible. What if there were some SnGs that required a functioning microphone/speakers/web-cams. Players wouldn't always play these, but I'd enjoy asking a player "what do you have" and looking for some tells. I'm pretty sure 10 years from now you will plug virtual reality goggles into your USB port and feel like you are AT the table and there will be some mind blowing shit. Can't wait!! -

actually amanda didn't openly admit to anything. The thread started with "UB cheating scum froze my account." Only after we all thought he was clearly cheating already (and made it clear he was trying to blackmail UB, did he bring on the cheating allegations and said he colluded with FG and CWT.
He only did it to avoid attention on the original attempted blackmail and look *sort of* like the good guy. Rather than the morally corrupt, cheatning scumbag that he is - remember he admitted just to this one transgression - when it is clear he has many others and no qualms about cheating again. -
tbh they should let foolish golf have as many accounts on as many different sites as he wants, he is the absolute nut worst type of reg and id like to have 8/9 of him at everyone of my tables

As a person I am one of the nicest people you would ever meet and I’m as trustworthy as a friend and person as you would ever find. I would never do anything to hurt a friend. Should I play hard against him just like I would any other player? (Absolutely) is it easy to do??? (Absolutely not) And whether or not I choose to play against him hard or soft is up to me. Is it the right way to go? maybe not. But my heart is and has always been for my friends. Maybe sometimes this causes me to make the wrong decisions in life and in poker. Amanda has gotten on here and has done nothing but try to get himself off the chopping block and has done so because he has put me and CWT there in his place. About 3 months ago something changed in my life, and I’m not the same person I once was. And for those of you who still hate me I’m sorry for whatever I did. And I ask for you forgiveness. Poker is a passion of mine and always has been. Those of you who wonder I am banned from Cereus network and all of my funds were ceased, for now. Do I entirely believe I deserve it partly yes and partly no. They have to do what they feel is best for their players and this is their decision. Anyways for the poker world I just wanted to come on here and publicly apologize for all those players who looked up to me. Hopefully I’ll earn trust back someday.
