    Yeah. lol I was thinking the same thing. Good move by Greg to call though. I guess he doesn't mind raising with weak hands when he has a alot of chips.

    I don't think there was anything wrong with that. Raymer raised to steal blinds and keep bullying, Mafews re-raised because he thought Raymer was stealing. Raymer called, with plenty of chips to back it up and hopefully bust Mafews. He flopped top-pair and thought it was good against Mafews. Nothing wrong with that.

    i thought this was a great play by raymer to be honest
    he tried to steal with a marginal hand, but not a terrible hand. 9-10 is a hand i like to take flops with. he had position after the re-raise..... and the only hands that had him beat that a re-raise would come from were probably high pp's. so either raymer was right in that the guy had 2 high cards and missed....and was trying to steal the pot, or he would be wrong, and it wouldnt kill him cause he had so many chips

    the other option would be to fold preflop...but he did have position and that was a good place to be in with that many chips

    P5'ers,
    This shouldn't be a surprise to see Fossilman play this. I was watching a 1 table game last year on TV (can't remember the name but is where Annie Duke beat Phil Helmuth for the only prize, 2 million) and watched Raymer play 10-9 twice. I know he went all in against Annie Duke (think she had A Q or something like that) and when she called his All In, Fossilman flipped his cards and Annie's eyes almost popped out of her head. One of the announcers (probably Norman Chad) made some comment about Annie's reaction. Was pretty Funny.

    Bottom Line: Not rigged...he's playing his game. And when your the big stack, you can really play your game.

    This hand is pretty ABC. Wonder if Fossilman actually knows who Mafews is - which could have defo made him think his top pair was way good against a very agressive player.

    he doesn't need to know who he is. believe it or not sometimes poker players get reads on people after being at the table with them for a decent chunk of time.
