Foxwoods and Mohegan

    I have not been to either in 6 years and I am wondering from people that have gone recently if they offer an PLO games there. I am heading there on the 6th and 7th and want to play some PLO. What stakes of NLHE do they offer? Thanks for the help and if your heading up message me and we could grab a few beers, Im also going to see Dane Cook on the 6th

    i havent been there in a few months but I would say all the mix games would be found at Foxwoods. I only go to mohegan when I visit New England b/c they have Kids Quest, and I have never seen a PLO game get off. I always here of all the Limit games and Stud going off at Fox, so i am only assuming the same for PLO.

    Foxwoods would be your best bet for PLO. They have PLO tourneys on sundays. Usually only twice a month sometimes three

    mostly at foxwoods the 1/2 PLO is hi/lo not sure about any of the higher stake games

    Heading down there in a week and bringing 1k with...which game do u think is best to play with that br....I was thinkin of splashing some 5-10 limit in with 1/2nl and hopefully some plo if they got it...will 1k be suffice in these games...

    not sure you will go far in a plo game with 1k, variance can be a bitch in that game, also 1k for 1 week can go quickly if you have a couple of bad days to start. I have found that there is not much to do but gamble up there, so.....glglgl

    Im headed down there in a week for the weekend (all day sat and leaving Sund around 6pm)....do u think 1k will be enough for that

    Mohegan runs a 1/1 game 30min/100max buy in if your looking for some fun.

    IMO the Foxwoods card room smells awful which is why I almost always go to Mohegan. As for the games they offer the other posts covered it well; if you're looking for PLO then FW is the place to go. If you bring $1k then you'll only have two buy-ins or so at 2/5 so 1/2 may be better. The 1/2 field at Mohegan is pretty weak with the usual cast of characters.

    If you drop 1k at 1/2 live NL. Your doing it wrong. IMO. People just hand you money.. Run somewhat normal and take it..

    I dont plan on losing that in NL, but it could be the late night shenanegins at the craps table that could cost me more than anything....I have heard nothing but good stories about how soft the low NLHE live tables are so I plan on making some good change to withstand my druken shenenagins
