  1. Hello all,

I'm not sure if any of you read my last post, but my name is Samuel. I was naturally considered a genius and skipped a few grades throughout elementary school. Between graduating high school early, and enrolling in Yale; I visited a doctor who diognosed me with having a clairvoyant mind. That is, I have the power and ability to see into things amazingly. If you think I sound crazy, I might. However, I'm telling you this because with this ability, I have the potential to make an extraordinary amount of money and do quite well playing poker.

Last night my friend Ted called me up. He wondered if I wanted to come over to his apartment and play a 10 dollar SNG. I told him sure.

I arrived at Ted's house at approximately 9:32 PM. After a little bit of visitiation, the cards were dealt. There would be 7 players in this particular match. I'm going to give you some reviews of my hands.

The very first hand I was dealt AhQh in the middle position. It was folded to me, and not wanting to scare my opponents away, I opted to limp in for 50 chips. Three other players limped (2 before me, 1 after me). The blinds also seen the flop. The pot was about 300 chips. The flop came out 2h 5d Ks. The first limper bet out 150 chips. The other guy folded. I decided to just call. I read that he might have a king, but his kicker would be no good., so I could pretend I had a huge hand, and then steal it on the 4th card This is what my clairvoyant mind told me. I called. The big blind also called.

Now I was a bit stumped. There were three players now in the pot. And when it was time for the dealer to put the 4th card on the table, the pot was a massive 750 chips on the first hand at blinds 25/50!

Astonished by this, I knew I had to win this hand. The river brought a 5 of spades. The board was paired. John then bet out 150 chips again. I called, and the big blind called.

The river brought a 8 of hearts. John decided to push all in. I stared him down for literally 2 mintues when the guys set the alarm clock on me (this is what they do at this game, kind of like getting the clock called on you).

After pondering over this situation over and over, I was convinced that HE HAD NOTHING! He was pushing all in WITH NOTHING because the pot was so big. I called, and the big blind folded. He flipped up 9T of diamonds and I scooped in the massive pot.

I then went on to knock out the next three players with situations similar to this. Two of the guys, I was able to pick up "tells" on them. One guy would shake when he had the nuts, another guys would play with his ring when he had a premium hand.

Then I got heads up with a guy by the name of Jeremy. I really can't explain it, but he was a top notch player. He said he has really good success online. He said 2 years ago that he deposited 50 dollars online and right now has it up to around 1500. I find that hard to believe, seems impossible; but maybe he was telling the truth.

So I get dealt QhKd. The flop comes 2d 7d 6d. Giving me the flush draw. He decides to check. I bet 800 into the 1200 pot. He calls. The turn and river are non diamond cards (the T and 7). On the turn we both checked. On the river, I bet a small bet of about 1400 hoping to take it down there. After Jeremy pondered over the decision, he pushed all his chips in the middle and declared "I'm all lin."

I sat there for about 6 minutes when the alarm clock finally went out. I decided that my smallish bet probably looked very week and it induced a bluff of his with 89 or 45. I called.

Sure enough, he flipped over 4-5 offsuit, and I scooped in the pot (I had him covered slightly). I was able to win this tournament.

So all in all, I was very pleased with my reads and plays. It was a great experience that Ted offered me. It was amazing how much easier it was for me to use my clairvoyant mind in a live match, rather than on the computer.

    Anyways, thanks for reading.

    Samuel

  19. How would 89 be a bluff on the last hand? Wouldn't that give him a straight?

I would think a genius would figure that out.
  20. NewMike,

My opponent in this particular hand had 45, it was a bluff. I thought it was possible he could have 89 also. However, I didn't think he would push all in with a straight. I felt he would try to get more value and min-raise possibly.

    Thanks,

    Samuel

  21. lol...... This is getting good. Are you wanting do talk poker or brag about how much of an idiot you are??
  22. Samuel: your posts are very amusing, please keep them coming. However, it would be more amusing if you didn't use lingo that only experienced internet pokernerds are familiar with, such as "Qh 5d 3s." Only a pokernerd uses that type of notation when describing flops. Please cease to use this type of syntax and your posts will be even better.

Thanks and keep up the good work.
