It has been said Live on pokerroad that this is true. that ESPN will choose a player they want at a featured table if they feel it'll improve there show. 100% they do this and if you dont think so you sir are blinded. May not be fair in some ways but it happens. IT IS A BUSINESS!

Wow you really have no clue how it works. Yes ESPN gets to pick what is the featured table. However, they pick it from the tables that are out there. For instance, lets say Table 273 has Hellmuth on it, they are likely to choose that table to be the featured table and that table is then moved.

Two or three years ago on the featured table I think it was either Matusow or Hachem on a day 1. The table broke, (just because it is the featured table they don't change the break order). When it did the big player joined another table, lets just say table 41. However, table 41 now became the featured table as was shifted to it to ensure the big name player stayed on the featured table.

ESPN does not choose when tables are broke, or which player goes where.

There are a lot of big names in poker man. Replace Matusow with Ivey/Durr/Antonius/a hundred other names and the effect is the same. It could easily be a coincidence.

    This makes perfect sense.
  4. Player's shall be moved from the next table to break that still has more players than the short handed one. Not from a nearby table for convienence or other reason.
  5. You should post this on 2+2, and have Matt Savage answer for him self.

  6. I would be surprised if Matt did anything unfair, at the same time I would not be surprised if the floor did something shady, the floor at harrah's are completely clueless and give preferential treatment so much it is absolutely a joke. On day 3 Matt g was seated at a table near me, he came to teh table at the beginning of the day and did not have his id, they called the floor over, Matt gave some spiel about how a lot of people know who he is, he has multiple bracelets etc (for teh record I don't blame Matt for doing this at all, I would have done the exact same) and the floor says ok it's fine this one time... don't let it happen again. I couldn't help but be stunned at this decision and be even more stunned that someone at Matt's table didn't throw a fit.
