  1. My Stack of 54k was 8 of 10 at the time, with SS=25k, while next stack to mine was 52k. Prior to this I had been playing tight, been hovering around 10bbs and only making plays with premium hands, but never having to showdown. Table was playing fairly rationally, except for once when seat7 made a loose "spite call" of a preflop shove by seat 3 due to some argument they were having.Should I be open-shoving this or just bide my time for FT and then try to make moves there?

  2. I don't like the shove here with Ax. You can still afford to be patient, you do have the whole table behind you (granted you're 5 handed) and if you do get called you are crushed simple as that. Bigger ace or a pair higher than 5 most likely. A5 plays poorly against anything that you are getting called with. I would rather see you shoving 9T here than A5. For me this is an easy fold preflop.
     
  3. dont shove A rag to "make a move" because when call you will always be dominated, instead at least shove something like semiconnected suited cards
