  1. So cudos to FT, finally. after about a dozen messages at the weekend
    they gave me my account back and cashed out my BR.

    Want to thank them for reviewing and resolving this. Guess I am one of the lucky 0.01%

    So I tried to cashout from full tilt yesterday, first time.
    It was declined.
    I send them a note, they closed my account, wtf.

    Now they won't respond about how I get my bankroll off the site.

    They told me I had duplicate accounts. I had an original account with them that was hacked and my b/r stolen, twice. I asked them to close it, asked for their permission to open a different account, they agreed.

    They took plenty of my deposits, first time I want to cash out, they steal my money and close my account.

    Bunch of Mothers, won't respond to my emails.
    Anyone got a suggestion how to resolve this, or do I get my lawyer to deal with it.

  3. If you explain to fulltilt that you had a previous arrangement with them about opening a new account, and thats true then you will get ur account reinstated im sure.

  4. Interesting, I was about to re-deposit on FT but maybe I'll rethink it now. though maybe this is only a problem with people who had other account in the past.

    Anyway, I don't know how much better your lawyer could do, but might as well shoot him an e-mail asking for advice.

    FT is legit, unless you cheat or did something wrong it will get cleared up
     
  6. Hard to clear this up when they won't respond, don't have a phone number for me to call and discuss with them.

    This is really frustrating. Feel like I've been mugged in the street, beaten up and had my wallet stolen.

  7. I don't play on FT anymore only because stars has way better customer service. I doubt a lawyer would do you any good. You might try to contact Doug on 2+2. That might be a way to get it resolved. I would avoid using the word stolen when contacting him though.

    Do you have your orginal emails that can verify they agreed to a new account? If so, include those with your communication with them.

  9. 99.99% of the time in a case like this the OP doesn't explain the whole story and 99.99% the person did something agaisnt the TOS.
  10. FullTilt should realize that the lack of solid customer service costs them thousands in rake.

    It shouldn't have happened, and it definitely should be able to be resolved in a minute if they are on their job.
  11. Think I'll write to Barney Frank, as well as my lawyer, let him know of some additional thoughts for his proposed legislation to stop these companies ripping off their customers.

    Stop tilting and do this the right way. Statements like this makes me start to think you did something to violate the TOS and got caught. How much money are we talking about?
  13. I'm just frustrated, because i want to deal with this, and am getting no response from them. Its not a lot of cash, $500, but it was my first cashout, so it's a big deal for me.

    I'll wait til i hear from them and let you know if it gets resolved.

    let them follow their safety regulations and if you did nothing wrong you will get your money back. it sucks, but it happens all the time if you've had a previous account with them
  15. I am going through exactly the same thing. Been waiting three days for a response to about 6 emails. If you know the login info to this old account it will speed up the process. In my case I do not since it hasnt been logged into since the day I created it 5 years ago. I lodged a complaint with the kahnawake gaming commission and pm fulltiltdoug, FTP obviously is not gonna respond to my emails. They told me they would respond to my original email address only although it has been closed for years and they know this. So if thats all they will do they are telling me to go fuck myself. They said its for my protection, well where was my protection when I made the second account and deposited? I am sure it flagged there system then but they were the ones getting the money! This original account for me has zero stats Ive never used it. It was made to basically look at the software not to play poker and forgotten until 5 years later when I decided to play ON FTP.

    I can understand this being a big deal for you, but for that amount of cash (which is really not the point) I would certainly not hire a lawyer. It may cost you a couple of thousand.

    that's pretty fucked if its true. If it was an old yahoo or hotmail account you can get that info back, or just spoof the email address. (I saw this on Law & Order) :)
  18. I know things are frustrating now, but FTP will get this right, even if it takes them a couple tries. They aren't in the business of screwing with people.

    if u r telling the truth just send an email to full tilt and they will have it resolved. Hacked and b/r stolen twice? really? thats pretty bad on ur part. maybe do not have ur password as password and do not share it with others. Secure you network also maybe.

  20. I posted the bad so heres the good. FTP just gave me my NEW account back and closed my old since it had no play logged.. took em a while but got it done.
  21. This is what happened with me. i created an account and forgot about it. I made a new 1 and when I went to cash out it got flagged as being a second account. They gave me the directions and procedures I needed to follow to close the new account and move back to my original 1. Just give them time and they will get it correct, unless you have failed to mention something to us.
  22. just be patient FTP support is kinda slow but they do usually end up getting things right in the end as long as they find out that there was no malicous act in anyway.

Like Jen said, FT is not in the business of screwing people over just for shits and giggles

    Not so much from your original post, but from subsequent posts in this thread, you sound like a hot-headed, immature punk.

    Keep flipping out, mass emailing FTP's customer support, which the entire world knows is slow. Sending 10 emails is no better than sending 1. They got it, and they will respond when they have researched and come to a decision. The reason this issue never came up until you tried to withdraw, is b/c withdrawing is the action that sends up a red flag, so that is the time when things get looked into. This isn't a case of them being cool with deposits but not withdrawals, its a case of deposits don't trigger red flags, withdrawals do. You should be able to understand why.

    Anyone else notice a common theme from all the people who create these "FTP robbed me" threads?

    [x] OP displays no patience or maturity
    [x] OP attempts to slander FTP b/c he is frustrated
    [x] OP makes hollow threats in a desperate attempt to gain attention
    [x] OP never comes back and admits to being out of line when things get resolved, or it is proved that OP was in fact cheating/breaking TOS

    FWIW, the following is common knowledge. If you didn't know it already, consider yourself informed:

    stars > FTP on security of your account
    Stars > FTP on customer support

    FTP > Stars on tournament schedule
    FTP > Stars on payout structure

    figure out what you value more, and choose your home site accordingly. good luck with the congress/lawyer angle.
