  1. Button raiser has opened 100% of pots that have been folded to him. What are the thoughts on my shove? And on the bb call?

    I ended up coming 217 with 216 paid...sigh...

  2. i suck but i woulda folded. u aint exactly miles ahead of his range and u got a decent stack. But like i said i suck. BBs call is as terrible as u think tho.
  3. I fold it, you don't crush his range that bad.

BBs call sucks bad and he ended up making the FT.

He busted 8th though, I think he made a similar shitty call but I could be way off, can't remember.

  4. guess i owe you a thanks, i busted trips v boat on the exact bubble hand but got 216th for the big $400+ score shipppppppppppppppp

  5. np...it took forever for the bubble hand to play out on all the tables...I was just waaaaaiting in hope that someone with less chips busted as well. no such luck.

  6. i dont get it arnt u still in?..

Uncalled bet of 5,865 returned to PapaGreggio
  7. I couln't believe you both called me when I saw the cards!

You put in a third of a decent stack when you may have been way dominated if I was waiting for a decent ace or pair and as for the BB calling both of us with that...

still - all good fun! nice result for cogaz - laughed when I saw he had FT'd earlier

  8. Jim, LOL at you waiting for a better ace or a pair. You have 10BBs on the Bubble and you were shoving Q3. we all know you are shoving a wide range. Obv the K10 overcall is horrendous but the A3 is pretty much a snap call against your range here.
  9. guess ^you^ didnt read op
  10. the bb call is beyond horrible but it doesn't suprise me he made the final table b/c that is how the shit works, make terrible calls all day long and then suck out and rake in the $$

  11. If you think bubbling the 100R is bad try getting 10th to a 2 outer on the river from ch0ppy...Now that's some trauma..
  12. It was 200 spots from the bubble. I was also suprised by OPs suggesting that I had been playing any unopened pot from button - I hadn't been, far from it in fact. I'd been waiting, too long probably, for something decent. In the end I shoved with the Q3 hoping I would get some credit from blinds for having clearly been waiting for something better than that!

In any case I still think A3 is hardly a snap call given his stack size even if my range includes Qrag. He's dominated by virtually any A or pair and other than the lucky 3/1 advantage he ended up cos I had 3, with most other situations he's at best 6/4. Overall its gotta be a very mrginal call on the odds. I'd still be folding and wanting to get my chips in first somewhere if I was sitting in small blind there.

Not that I claim to be an expert of course, I'm certainly not as big on theory as some of you guys but however I work things out - I haven't done too bad! I'm consistent though so I must be doing something right even if I don't know what it is!
