  1. Not sure if this was discussed but I wanted to give everyone a heads up just incase. I won a sat to the FTOPS PLHE event, and just found out I wont be able to play that night. I emailed support and they won't allow me to unregister and enter a different event of an equal buy-in on a night I can actually play. This is a killer policy, so beware. Now I have a $216 seat that will just blind away. Their answer was "We apologize for the inconvenience Brian, and wish you the best of luck in the tournament." I'll need a ton of it... stars' policy for the WCOOPs is much better, as they let you unregister for W$ that you can use in a different tourney.
  2. Find someone you trust and let them play your seat for you.
  3. Thats what I did. Same scenario except for the 500k tourny. I just got one of my trusted friends to play for me and the deal was we would split 50-50 anything that was won
  4. This is no different from FTPs normal policy on satellites.
  5. It is a pretty ridiculous policy as I know a lot of people who like to play satellites just for value but can't play on FTP because of this. Your best bet would def be to do what computerb said.

It's actually for this reason that I won't be doing any satellites into the FTOPS b/c since it goes on simultaneously with the next Turning Stone series, I have no idea which tournies I'll even be able to play. This is a shame because they have that excellent $300 "avatar race" thing that I can't play since I probably won't be able to play all the events.

  6. 1st, dont be an idiot and blind out just find sum1 to either buy it from u or play it 4u so you get some value from it

2nd, while you make not like their policy bc you cant unregister it is their policy and you agree to it by playing there/playing the satellite (altho a few cases ive heard theyve made exceptions_)

3rd, if youre playing a satty to a tourney that you are interested in and i see its PLHE....why would you not check to see if you could even play in the tourney in the 1st plave b4 playing the satty

  7. Beware...LOL. If you can't make it to the Giants game on xx/xx/xx why buy a ticket?
  8. Excellent reply about the giants game. Except for the fact that the ticket is marketable. Since you would own the ticket you could sell it in a fairly liquid market. Kinda like stars T$ W$.

Anyway besides that little detail, you have added greatly to the discussion.

Why do idiots come on here and bash anyone who complains about Fulltilt's ridiculous satty policy.

Fulltilt needs to change this just as soon as they get around to changing their policy on plagerism.

    Quick question Doug?

Is Fulltilt always going to suck??

Oh I forgot, Doug only answers a fraction of the Fulltilt threads.

How about it Doug? Would you like to imply that T$ are in the pipeline again??

    Seriously Fulltilt, SMFD
  9. Since I won the seat on the 19th of July, and the event is August 10th (22 days later,) things come up in that time. They act like I'm trying to pull one over of them, take the money and leave. Their rep said "Once money is placed into the tournament prize pool, it cannot be removed." If Full Tilt has so little control over their own system, why the hell should I play on the site? I'll probably just take everything over to stars and start working on those WCOOP Sats.

  10. From a business point of view, their satellite policy is great, because there will be more players and it will be harder for there to be an overlay, because you have to play in it. Players point of view, this is really stupid and ridiculous, because not many people know if something is going to come up a month later and they will not be able to play.
  11. I had the same problem alst FTOPS. I only play satellites in stars now, and if I really want to paly in an event on FTP I just buy-in directly, but I don't play tournaments there very often for that very reason.
  12. Full Tilt is in the Stone Ages on this one. F every site out there except pokerstars.

  13. why play in a sat to a tourney u cant play in? its been widely KNOWN that FULLTILT doesnt do W$ or T$ or any other letter$

if i try sat'in into an event, like this sundays 500K i play in the same and in the 500K (if i sat in)
  14. Aren't we due for a stars > FTP post? Throw this onto the pile that includes player points, customer support, guarantees, lack of micro games, plagarism...

    Someone pls take the baton.
