    We have three major online series coming up: FTOPS runs from August 4th to 15th, UBOC runs from August 18th to August 29th, and WCOOP runs from September September 5th to 26th. Here are the schedules:

    I think this would be a perfect time to run a competition or two. I am open to any ideas, I just wanted to get the ball rolling. If you think August 4th through September 26th is too long of a window to run a fair competition, then we can have a shorter window. We could do a high stakes individual competition or different tiers of stakes and have teams (mini-FTOPS also runs during this time.) I think the end of this month will be used by a lot of us to relax and recover from Vegas, but August and September will be sick months to grind online. I am not looking for a super high buy-in or anything, but these comps are usually pretty fun and a nice extra motivation.

    I know it's a little early, but these things usually get put together too late. I would like to finalize details in about a week so that we have a week for people to sign up.

    The UBOC schedule looks pretty sick, and I hate UB. This is the only time of the year I will be playing on AP. If you don't play it there are still TONS of other tourneys for you to play and put up a good score.

    Feel free to comment on what buyin you would like and what format. I am thinking a high stakes individual comp (excluding the high roller events imo) and a group comp would both be good. Maybe teams of 3, draft format, top 20 scores per person, best cumulative score wins? As for buy-in I think $500 sounds about right.     The summer one was huge. Goldenand ran it I think. Maybe try a repeat of that one?

    but i think its gona be less popular than the earlier one that goldenad ran since all these tournament series are all "high stakes" buy ins. the other one has SCOOP which had low and mid buy in levels and had a mini FTOPS going on so the majors allowed for teams of low mid and high.

    this time around its basicly regular schedual for low and mid players and a tournament series for the high players.

    but id still be interested

    would prob be in for some type of team-comp. i dont really want to grind hardcore for 2 months so if there's some type of scoring system where i wouldn't incredibly hurt my team, i'd be in.

    I think atm I am leaning towards a team high stakes comp, $500 buyin per person. Probably have the people with the highest PLB scores be captains and then draft teams of 3 or 4. If the low stakes guys want to get something else going then I would encourage that, but with so many good HSMTTs coming up, I think a HSMTT comp would be best. The only events excluded would be the 10 K+ tourneys.

    i would totally be interested in this rather it be solo or by team...and also like what if some1 just played ftops and ubocs? would they lose points by NOT playing like the wcoop or vice versa for any of the other sites... i guess that's something to question b/c playing all 3 for 2 months straight might just absurdly rape me and my mindset

    You wouldn't have to play FTOPS, UBOC, OR WCOOP. But your top 20 or so scores when those series run would count. The PLB competition would coincide with those series.

    def oi a tiered comp or w/e we did last time. that was good and all, but let's at least just run a regular comp with one buy in let's just do something for ftops week. $500/person 3 person teams. i guess we can draft, everyone bitched to high hell last time we did a draft tho...so maybe pick our own teams..

    Draft is gr8 but the higher ranked players need to be captains , so when the top 2 ranked players get the first two picks the donkey captains like myself who get to pick 14th arent at such a large large disadvantage. That an being unable to make any scores makes for a hard comp for people like myself.

    I am down for this idea. Like JLizard and I mentioned, we will have the highest ranked players be captains to make the teams fairest. I guess we can run separate comps for FTOPS and WCOOP if you think that is best. I would definitely be playing both.

    So $500 buy-in, 3 person teams, running for the duration of FTOPS?

    You are going to have to make 2-5 K sidebets. There's no way we will get enough people to have a competition at that price.

    the problem with making 'higher ranked players' captains is that not all of higher ranked guys want to be captains. then the day of the draft we have like 2 captains for like 30 people and have to scramble to be captains. just let anyone be captains


    and ya 2k-5k or w/e daize wanted seems absurdly high and would only get like maybe 3 people at most

    im in for sure who did the last scoring? I think that webpage and scoring system was ran the best yet. I also agree with the higer ranked players not wanting to captian becasue afterall were all pretty lazy but seems the fair way to do it. But seems like its gonna be a good month n 1/2
