So both villians involved are pretty decent obv. I was pretty active on the table as well as All In At 420, 2 hands ago I 5bet All In at 420 in the BB vs Btn battle and he folded.
It is never a mistake here folding 99 ,but do we have any other options other than folding? btw,avg is probly 35k or so if it matters.
    I was considering:
1)4bet get in against bigred and fold if All In At 420 shoves. Becasue after my 4bet,i doubt All In At 420 would have a bluff shoving range where Bigred could certainly have.
2)Flat. I dont think we need to consider balancing here at all, as this kind of spots rarely happens anyways. the good side about flatting is we wont get bluffed preflop(cos im repping a super strong hand even i actually didnt have a monster) ,and since we are ahead of All In At 420's opening range as well as Bigred's 3betting range,we can let the hand play itself postflop, plus we have position with SPR of around 2 postflop(assume All In At 420 flat as well),we seldom would need to face tough decisions.
3)4bet fold to either of villians' 5bet. So we basically turnning 99 into a bluff which i would rather do it with hands that have a blocker, like A2 stuff.

As i said, folding is never a mistake here ,but since the field is so tough which leads me to think that it's better to take higher variance lines
,i end up folding 99 but the more i think about it the more i hate folding.

    So,any comments is appreciated guys!
  2. this is a standard fold.

99 is behind the ranges of each of them if we happen to get it all in so we dont want to get it AIPF
i guess we could turn 99 into a bluff and 4b/f but id rather have a hand like A3s or something. if you do decide to 4b bluff with 99 and get flatted its just a mess unless we flop a set. because of that i just like folding here rather than bluffing and getting it all in is bad. also, flatting is bad, so that leaves fold

  3. yup, agreed it is a fold, but of all the other options your best is to go 11,111/call bigred and fold to stout. it couldn't be too bad, especially seeing as how he's gonna have air a large % of the time(based on his and matt' stacks), and might sometimes spaz and put it in against you, granted u play quite poorly against his value range of 99+/AQs/AK, i think he folds/shoves trash enough, that it's ok to 4b/call off vs bigred if the dynamic is there. my main worry is that you probably don't have a 11,111/fold range with a 50k stack...so I am not sure how often ur going to get him to spaz here (if at all), which makes it a little more interesting if you had over 60bbs or a stack where ur cold 4b/fold is more likely (but then we get back to the pt where our stack is so big/valuable that we might wanna fold and wait for a better spot anyways)

the real question is, at what blind lvl are we shoving/getting it in instead of folding. i imagine around 25-35k i'm just giving him the pile, so curious at what pt other ppl change from folding or 4b/inducing to just shoving.

  4. 4b/call unless both shove

edit: (obv fold in a really soft, well structured tournament)
