  1. My Full Tilt poker account has been suspended for a month now. A month ago, when I realized my account was suspended, I e-mailed Full Tilt to find out what was going on, and here's what they said:

    Hello Ethan,

    Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

    After reviewing your account, we have determined that you are closely associated with a player who is currently suspended or under review by Full Tilt Poker.

    We have determined you are associated to this player due to one or more of the following parameters:

    * Accounts have logged in from the same computer/IP address.
    * Transfer of funds between both accounts.
    * Similar information on accounts.
    * Shared payment processors.

    For security and privacy reasons, we are unable to release the Player ID of the account in question.

    To maintain the integrity of our site and for the protection and security of our players, Full Tilt Poker must take all precautions and suspend closely-associated accounts. Once the associated player resolves their issues with us, we'll be happy to reopen your account.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    -----------------------

    To explain...I have a friend (we will call him Joe) whom I sometimes play online with. He either comes to my place, or I go to his, we hang out and get in some MTT's together. The MTT's we play in are always 1000+ fields and I doubt we've ever been at the same table. We don't play cash games, sit-n-go's, or smaller field tournies together....everything we play are huge low stakes fields. And since we are friends, once in a while he will buy me lunch, and instead of paying him back, i'd just transfer him $10 on Full Tilt. I have never cheated with him, never broken any rules, etc...

    Now here is where it gets tricky. My friend allowed another friend (lives in different state, we'll call him Mike) to play on his account. Mike ended up doing some sketchy shit. Sketchy shit=depositing with checks that didn't have the money in the account, or never cleared, and he used the money before it did...something along the lines of this. I don't know exactly what went down, but at the end of the day, Full Tilt is telling Joe that he owes them $1200.

    Whatever happened on Joe's account is between him and Mike. I've never been on their accounts. They have never been on mine (I don't even know Mike).

    Either way, my account is suspended for being "associated" with Joe. They are holding my account hostage until Joe pays them.

    It has been a full month of them telling me my account is "under review." I've told them numerous times to do their due diligence and once they realize I have nothing to do with any of this, they would re-activate my account. Unfortunately, it has been a full month, and they have no intentions of giving me my account back until this issue, that has nothing to do with me, gets resolved.

    I've asked Full Tilt numerous times what I did wrong and if I've broken any rules. Time and time again they've answered "No, you have not broken any rules." If so, why the fuck is my account suspended for so long?

    How is it possible that I can be held responsible for a matter that exists between 2 other accounts...?

    Here's their latest e-mail:

    Hello Ethan,

    Thank you for your email,

    We understand your frustration with being unable to access your Full Tilt Poker account. However, we must take all necessary precautions by suspending accounts that are closely associated to accounts that are under review.

    While the outstanding issue may not involve you directly, we must adhere to this security policy.

    If you wish to speed us this process you may wish to speak with anybody who is close to you who also has a Full Tilt Account

    Once the issue is resolved rest assured we will reopen your account

    Regards,

    So, if 2 other guys don't care enough to resolve their pending issue, I get fucked and my account stays suspended?

    FTP makes so much money, it is beyond frustrating not being able to actually speak with a representative.

    You guys think they are being fair with the way they are handling this situation? TBH, at this point all I want to do is log on my account, withdraw my funds, and say fuck you full tilt.

    ****Cliff Notes: My account was suspended for being "associated" with another account that has unresolved issues with Full Tilt. I've never broken any rules or terms of agreement, nor have I cheated or colluded in any way, shape or form. Full Tilt is keeping my account suspended in hopes that it will be enough of a reason for my friend to resolve his issue with them. My friend doesn't really care enough to deal with it, and I am being held responsible for HIS actions. I no longer have an account to play. Yay!

  2. Seems a little unfair to me, but i dont play there so im not sure how it all works on FT. What suprises me most about ur story is that they let players play with uncleared funds which i would think makes them at least partly responsible for the situation.
  3. "For security and privacy reasons, we are unable to release the Player ID of the account in question."

    "Once the associated player resolves their issues with us, we'll be happy to reopen your account."

    This part is definitely a leak and an unfair part of the policy that bothers me. How can you encourage an associated player the resolve the issue so you can get your account back, if they won't tell you who the player is.

    But for you that is not the issue, you know who the associated player is. Call your friend Joe and tell him to make good on the $1200 with Fulltilt and collect it from Mike afterwards himself as it is his dbag of a freind, and your account is closed because they both are morons. If he refuses then punch him in the face repeatedly, but not before you get Mike's phone number/address. If it comes to that step, then contact Mike and tell him to resolve the situation or else he will get smashed like your buddy Joe did....... then if he refuses, show up at his house with a Lousville Slugger, smash his window and go in and then take any property you find that you can liquidate for the funds. Then contact Full-Tilt and tell them you are willing to pay them back any funds that the other Dbag stole just so you can get your account open.

    Make sure Joe and Mike know that if police are contacted that next time will be much worse when they see you or your associates *(if your in jail)
  4. Have you asked them to close your account and ship funds? Sounds like they might agree to that. They obviously don't value your business anyway. They're just using you to put some heat on the scammer. They probably figure it's the only way they'll ever get paid.
  5. FTP are morons, gl with Doyles Room
