    got this email today. seriously FTP can you guys do ANYTHING right?

    Dear Tilter,

    We regret to inform you that, due to circumstances well beyond our
    control, the Moscow Millions event scheduled for October has been
    cancelled.

    We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and want to let you know
    that the balance of your winnings, $10,500, has been deposited in your
    player account. Please feel free to use this money on our site or to
    reserve your seat at other fantastic live tournaments, including the World
    Poker Tours Turks & Caicos Poker Classic.

    If you have any questions regarding the Moscow Millions or any of our
    other events, please email us at events@FullTiltPoker.com.

    edit: i'm not really complaining about what the outcome was, more of the idea that ftp could hold a satellite to a tournament that doesn't even exist is funny to me.

    but if you have nonrefundable tickets to moscow, spending more money to go to turks and caicos isn't looking like an attractive option

    I think the greater message with the OP's post is the fact that absoultely nothing is going right for FTP right now. I play almost exclusively on FTP and I am really starting to get disenchanted with their overall program. I would have expected more from a company that has so many of the big name player's reputations staked to it's success.

    they cant really do anything about their tech difficulties, im sure there is a good reason, but where has ftodouglas been lately, hes usually good for a smart ass remark or two

    but i cant figure out why they suck at customer support, i jsut dont email them

    I am living and playing poker in Moscow and as far as all poker players in this country are concerned the Moscow Millions has not been cancelled.
    My information is FTP were offered a deal to be named as the sponsors on the condition they sent some players and some of their big name players.
    I understand they met with the president of the Russian Sports Poker Federation in Las Vegas 2 weeks ago and decided to withdraw their offer of sponsorship. They did this only last week leaving the organizer to go it alone or find a new sponsor.
    I played in a satellite in Moscow last night for a seat into the Moscow Millions and from all reports in Russia it is definitely going ahead although there was some mention of the date being moved to November 24,25,26.
    I hope FTP are not sending this message out to the poker world!!! If anyone at FTP reads this please respond with the true facts.
