Doug i got banned today from Full Tilt and basically the email doesn't really give a reason as to why. I live with 4 other online professionals. My name is bonafidedonkey on there. Is there any way you can help me out? Edit thehuntd toptizzlepizzle got banned as well. WTF FTP.

The email doesn't tell you why? My guess is if your housemates got the banhammer as well they suspected cheating. I hope it works out for you. I am a huge toptizzlepizzle fan!

Yea good luck trying to explain ANYTHING to FTP. I recently got banned from Full Tilt for ABSOULUTE BULL SHIT. I go on fuckin monkey tilt just thinking about this... I get an e-mail saying that my IP address has been "Brute force logging" which basically means when someone attempts to hack an account by guessing the password repeatadly.. if you do it too many times, FT apparantly bans you.
No matter how much I treid to talk to them they just keep replying to my e-mail (5 days later of course) saying "We are sorry but our decision is final" I have a wireless network that I let a few neighbors that I know connect to it if they need to, 2 of which playe poker (2 brothers who live in the apartment below me) play poker but very rarely.... Now heres the fuckin kicker...
I see my neighbor outside one day while i was smoking a cigarette and we get to talking. I dont see this guy veyr often, we are cool w/ each other but don't really hang out, andn it actually completely slipped my mind that he still plays online poker. So he starts asking me about how im doing w/ poker, and he mentions how he hasn't been playing because he says he cant get on FT... I ask why curiously and he says that he tried to log in to his account, apparanatly he forgot his password and instead of e-mailng FT asking for his pass he tried many times to log in to his account, only to get his pass wrong time after time.. He says he didnt care much and he just played on stars.
So why is Full tilt such a bunch of fuckin assholes who won't even hear a loyal customer out, who has never had so much as a chat ban? I mean i find it so fuckin ridiculous how someone tried to log into HIS OWN FUCKIN ACCOUNT and apparantly was connectged to my wireless network and I get my account banned.
I mean honeslty, what pisses me off so much is that I spent so much time trying to get to the bottom of this, requesting help from FT security to aid me in figuring out, but they just could care less. They dont do a god damn thing, they just respond to my e-mail without any regard for what me as a person
My neighbor even e-mailed FT several times explaining the situation and they STILL will not re-instate my account.
But of course, fuckin Brian Townsend gets caught CHEATING , but since hes a fuckin red pro, he gets a slap on the wrist... FUCK FTP... BTW FT Doug, if you can help me get my account back, i would really appreciate it. I was planning on posting a thread abut what happened, but I hate complaining and I highly doubt anything would be done.
sorry for highjacking the thread, and i really do wish you luck in getting this issue resolved. I would definatly talk to all your roomates and get to the bottom of it.

well I would say if your friends are drunk and will need several attempts to type their password in correctly, or if they can't spell a word w/o making a typo to save their life, than yes i would be worried. because if they mess up their password several times, you will be hearing from FT.

So they can accuse you of unethical behavior. But they wont tell you what exactly the unethical behavior is? And then they can just randomly close your account without asking any questions of you? At least they didnt seize your fundage.

Check out this juicy thread that is rarely talked about here on pfives. FTP has nooooooo problems giving you the banhammer for the dumbest shit ever, but when ACTUAL cheating is reported they can't pull their heads... well.. they're clueless.

This should be a big deal MUPP. .The number 5 ranked player on P5's got his account closed.. Im sure the big boys would like to hear more about the details.. In light of the JJ thing this has potential to be just as important.
