Does anybody know how the changing of tables works? Was just playing a tourney with 3 tables left, i'm in the big blind on a v short stack and 2 players get it in, 1 gets elim so we switch to 2 tables and once the current hand has finished I'm in the BB again. Does that mean seating is completley random or just once you get down to the final few tables?

just a shatty draw. You were seated one spot to the left of a current BB player. But since the hand was in action you wait one. Then to allow you to immediately come into the game you post the BB the next hand and the prev BB posts the SB. There was 1 or 2 other empty seats at the table you got moved to, just unlucky that you got one right in the spot next to be dealt the BB.
Those players in the current hand that was finishing up did NOT move tables. Yins that were joining them were seated randomly, to clarify. -
Ah ok thanks for the explanation, would it not make more sense though to have players moved into seats depending on how recently they had the BB? So in my case for example, I get the closest available seat behind and including the small blind? If that makes sense.

It might make more sense, but I don't think that's how it's done live, I think it's just completely random, so you can be bb several hands in a row, you could dodge being the bb for a few orbits if you keep moving.

To me, what's more irritating is, playing at the start of a tournament, I'll be seated, then play a hand or 2, all of a sudden, I can be moved to a new table (no eliminations, full table I was at), and have to wait, sometimes 2 minutes, to get a new full table to start playing again. It annoys me losing hands at the low blind levels, especially in a turbo.
