FTP, please respond. Chop done on counts before crash or after crash chip counts?

    Full Tilt-

    Im 95% sure you guys chopped with the chip counts after the crash when some people connected and stole like bandits.

    Can you confirm this? And if so, please justify it.

    I went from 70k in chips to approx 34K in chips.

    obv after, i got fucked..people where stealing like crazy in the 40k and i got blinded out..they should of done chip counts before the crash

    im also interested in there response. after the 1st crash, i reconnected to find that more than half of my chips were gone in a 90man sng. i proceeded to shove (bc i was very low in chips after some1 stole everyones blinds) and lose during the few hands that were played between the crashes. will i still recieve a refund?

    I was also in this tourney and got blinded about 30k in chips...and since the payouts happened as soon as they tourney was canncelled they will probably going to tell us tough luck. Not only do they charge more rake then any other site (gotta add thier extra buck here or there, 150 +13, 200+16 etc). They obviously had to do it by chip count which is insane when 1 guy at the table got to blind everyone.

    i was in the 322 wsop me 2 seat gtee..

    and when i reconnected, there were already like 3 people stealin blinds...

    we were down to 2 tables, and the other table had only 2 of the guys there

    the eventual chipleader when all this was finished took out like 2 people becuase he just kept raising every hand and winning most of them, he went form like 35k to 75k in a matter of minutes...

    agreed.

    was in the 24+2 WSOP Bracelet Race tourney. was 3rd or 4th when the crash happened. came back and was 7th/16.

    got some $$$ but i'm pretty sure i got it based on the chip count after the crash and after the people still connected had their way with my blinds....

    So just to clarify:

    Right now, you did receive a payout as if you had 34K in chips.

    Over the next 24 hours, we will look at what your payout would have been at the snapshot you had 70K in chips (when the disconnections started happening), and if that payout is higher than the one you received, we'll make up the difference.

    So if I did benefit from the short time between the crash and when everybody was allowed to come back (when the tourney was voided) then I get to keep the money?

    Then I got very lucky.

    Had 40k in the 150 when the servers went down, stole to 200k.

    Essentially FullTilt's screw up made me 6k.

    I agree with everything in this thread, my stack went from 7500 to 1500 while DCed...and im pretty sure i got paid for my 1500 chips. If i dont get my fair share back, im gonna be heading back to pokerstars.

    FullTilt gave me 7700 for my chip chop. I'm estimating that I would've gotten around 1700 with my 40k stack.

    I folded AK when the other guy who reconnected pushed all in. Had I called that and won, that would've been worth like another 8k potentially. I didn't want to get knocked out, and I didn't think there was any way it was going to stand.

    I'm working through the numbers now, so I'm glad you guys have some examples to check against.

    Zota, I have you at 7754 chips when the disconnections began (17 minutes after midnight). If the tournament voided right then, we would refund your $26 and then give you $100.92 based on your chip count, for a total of $126.92.

    When the tournament did void at 1:04am, you gor paid back your $26 plus another $26.19 for what was left of your stack.

    So we owe you $126.92 - $52.19 = $74.73.

    Let me know if that sounds right.

    I was playing for FTP points. There were 350 or so player with 30 or so left. I had a chip lead. Should I be getting cash based on your rules or just FTP points. Keep in mind I spent more then 2 hours at this tourney?

    I appriciate ur response.

    Here is my math.

    350 players
    6 pays $75
    30 left and I had about 7% of chips
    6*$75*0.07=$31.50

    Please let me know if it makes sense.

    hi doug

    i was in a heads up sng ($20 i think) and i had the guy 1740 to 1260 if i remember rightly but i def lost that - the other guy must have got back on before me and won it.

    i dont care about the money but on principle i would like this looked at and refunded if poss doug. Support did email me saying it will be up to 72 hours for everything to be sorted and i understand you guys must be rushed off your feet but could you see if theres record of this please??

    For that tournament, my data shows about 50 people remaining when the disconnections started. Other than that, my math was pretty similar to yours.

    Everyone who was still in the tournament got back their 300 Point Buy-in. People near the top of th chip lead (like yourself) got 5,000 Full Tilt Points on top. And people that were not in the top 10 in chips got 3,000 Full Tilt Points.

    Sound close enough in terms of points? And the points should show up within 24 hours by the way.

    Doug can you please let me know what i would of got before the crash i had about 20k chips in the 40k, with 15 people left. You guys paid me out 15th becuz i got blinded out, and u guys did the payout after everyone got back on.
