FTP Support is terrible - ftpdoug Please Help

    FTP support needs to get their customer service in order. I have not received a response to my email to support on 5/10/07. It seems af if FTP cusomer serivce is now equivalent to UB, and what a shame because it used to be good. FTP doug please help me. I have copied the text of my email to support below for all to read.

    I was hospitalized on Friday 5/11/07 and have just been released today Saturday 5/12/07. Please see the copy of text below I sent to you guys on Thursday 5/10/07 as soon as I found out that I had to have the surgical procedure. On Wednesday 5/9/07 I won a sattelite into FTOPS event #1. I asked prior to the event to be unregistered due to obvious medical emergency.

    I know you all have made exceptions to your no unregistration from satellitte rule before for others, including players I know. Please find you way clear to refunding me my entry fee. I did everything in my power to contact you guys and I never even received a response to the email I sent. I sent ftpdoug a PM at Pocketfives, where I am a member and he didnt respond and he usually does to others. I have seen big name players put out requests to doug on the board and he responded to them. I realize I am a small time player, but I do generate rake for you and I am a great customer. Please help me with this situation. Thank you,

    Sorry Bombo, the best thing to do for this is to e-mail me directly (doug at fulltiltpoker.com). I've said several times that I do not respond to private messages, as it's impossible for me to communicate that way on multiple different forums.

    I'm not trying to be an ass with this, but Support's response time over the last few days may have something to do with the hundreds of people writing in about the bot thread(s). I've seen forum post after forum post saying "This sucks, I'm writing FTP to let them know how I feel."

    It's great to get customer feedback on these situations, but this isn't the way to go about it. For one thing, we read the forums, so if you've already posted your opinion, then there's no need to e-mail anyone about it. Second, if you do want to e-mail us, Support is not the place to do it. Send an e-mail to feedback@fulltiltpoker.com. You won't get a response, but that mailbox does get read by the decision makers. End rant.

    Anyway, shoot me an e-mail with your side of the story Bombo and I'll see what I can do.

    I wonder how FTPs satellite policy ever generates business. I often cruise over to FTP to see if there's a mid-level buy-in turny and all I ever see is sats to some turny I'm not sure
    I want to play, so I just leave. I guess it works for some of you -- kinda just seems like a good way to pay extra rake to me.
