  1. I'm am not a one for conspiracy theories but this made me think. Why is the 2nd largest poker site issuing bad checks? Is it because they don't want ppl withdrawing money in a bad economy (coupled with less pll depositing) and the site lossing customers in the process to Cake and UB who have a much lower deposit amount and lower buy in tournies?

    WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS?
EDIT: Just checked my FTP account and they credited my account the $800 +$50 and I haven't even tried to deposit it yet. WTF???
  2. they also closed my account for no reason....emailed them and still no response. as far as this goes, i dont think there is any conspiracy here

Its a processor issue. Not a $$ issue. Thank the united states govt. Now call and write your senator/congressmen.
  4. i think you're just paranoid. they are issuing good checks, and wire transfers have always worked flawlessly.

it was a problem with the check processor, has nothing to do with ftp 'not having money' or anything like that

  5. they are not issuing bad checks. the companies that process payments for them are likely having their bank accounts seized by our govt, which results in bad checks. it may take a bit, but they will make good on anything you got screwed on. btw, the same thing has happened in the past at all other US sites, pokerstars included.
