FTP update/system RANT

    Well as someone who loves FTP I'm getting pretty tired of their ridiculous servers and bogus customer service. Everytime they update FTP runs HORRIBLE for me.

    I had a huge hand in the 50k a few nights ago that I tried to call after beautifully building the pot and it timed me out on the river instead of accepting my call. Needless to say I was now a short stack. I e-mailed support about my frustration and when I timed out of another hand that I shouldn't have I restarted my computer. Everything came up fine, except FTP which took over 15 minutes. I e-mailed them again and asked for my buy-ins back. I don't think that was asking too much considering because of the restart I had missed hands at PS too.

    I got a reply today. Blah, blah, blah. We saw you were fortunate enough to come back to cash for $210.00. Please be reminded that when you sign on you have to go through multiple channels that FTP does not control, blah blah blah. Long story short because I cashed in something I get nothing. Pretty sad that they can constantly remove blame from themselves when every other site is fine. Seems to me if you have different channels/servers set up FTP u need to be working with them to improve this crap.

    I don't know if many FTP pros are here or anyone that works there but the business side of the company is horrendous and I'm severely disappointed. As bad as I run on PS I have never had this issue with them or UB for that matter.

    Unfortunately I have stakes that I have to run there but sadly they have lost my faith for good and I will likely be limiting. I'm sure my doomswitch is now on. I sent a very polite but direct reply to the bogus crap they sent me back.

    Sorry, I just wanted to rant and I wanted people to see it.

    update runs like shit on my comp as well. nasty lag but i never time out..... yet
