That river completed all kinds of drawing hands, the ten completes the straight, the flush, etc. He was probably banking on that player recognizing that fact and possibly folding his "weaker" hand.

This hand was terribly played by me and I appreciate you calling me out on the only weird hand I played all day.
My thinking was that he was pot betting on the flop to protect a hand and I was actually calling with top pair to take it away if the proper card came on the turn or the river.
Now when the 10h peeled off, completing a gutshot and the FLD i thought there is no way in hell he could put me on a bluff if I check shoved. Now i know it was only like 3k more but there is no reasonable way I could be bluffing here....He called with his set anyway and I look like an absolute tard....
GG 163, sigh at trying to make tricky moves on the river against stations. -
