Please start a Bad Beat Jackpot, everyone hits a ridiculously bad beat. My full house sixs-full-of-threes just lost to quads.
Although this hand would not qualify for the jackpot, it just reminded me of that idea.
Do something Full Tilt, that is the least you can do for breaking BR's with unreal suckouts.

If that was the qualifying level for a BBJ, then it'd be hit every 6 hours.
I think most places/sites with BBJs need Aces full to be the losing hand at minimum.
No cosign. -
Add .25 to every hand in rake. no thank you. -1
-
No cosign. The rake is already high enough at micro stakes cash games.
-
hell no.
please don't add it. -

Cosign because I would break FTP on this.
-
Quad 8's or better beat by higher quads or straight flush. I'd be 100% behind this kind of bad beat jackpot!
-
any of you behind this idea realize that bad beat jackpots are -EV

it isnt a free giveaway, they rake EVERY hand to get the $ for this and keep some of it

Nope
-
right because the money from jackpots comes from the sites......

No cosign, bad beat jackpots are seriously -EV for the players.
Although I will add the one positive thing about them is that they attract fish because fish can't even spell EV and just see the chance of getting lucky and hitting a big payout in between their weekly lottery draw.
FTP has plenty of fish, no need to F up the EV for those of us with a clue. -
PS- this was kinda funny, overheard at a casino once where there was a bad beat jackpot that had grown pretty high:
Player 1: I'm stuck so bad at this friggin game, I'll have to hit the jackpot just to get even.
Player 2: At least you've got outs.
lolz -
Huge Cosign!
A's full 10's or higher beat by better hand (usually quads), both players must use both whole cards!
Would be awesome! -
Why do u guys care if they add this or not? They would definetely put in a separate tab of games for BBJ and not just apply it to every ring game.
-
They won't ever do this. They would have to change their stupid ass software or go broke if they had a bad beat jackpot.
-
Because if they do add it most of the fish will be in that game intsead of a reg table and we'll be forced to play with the add'l .25 rake if we want to play vs. ppl who suck and call 10x BB with suited connectors chasing the BB jackpot.
-
these nerds piss me off so much. stfu. yes we realize it is -ev u fat dork. it is -ev in life to sit and grind on ur ass all day too. atleast someone would get rich easy. it is called gambling, ever heard of the lottery, it is sort of popular.
